Fun, easy to use, actually works
I picked this up for fun because I found if for super cheap and had read a nice review of it.***Be sure that the time on your console is set correctly (such as after a power-outage or unplugging from the wall) or else you can't sync up to your progress properly***There is an into phase where the program evaluates your fitness level, such as how many squats, crunches, resting hear rate, etc which I found fairly useful. It uses that to create a routine for you, that you get to rate after completing, such as letting it know if a section was too easy or too hard, then it responds next time. After several workouts, you are reevaluated and you can see your progress in a graph, which does a lot for my motivation.I particularly like the yoga routines (which you can do at any time such as for relaxation), even though they were buggy. Sometimes on one of the routines, the voice would be describing an entirely different set of poses than what the model on the screen was doing. If I didn't know the one she was talking about, I would just follow along with the screen and ignore the audio. The music was pretty good, too!I wish I hadn't leant this to a friend who lost it... might consider repurchasing.

Great change of pace
This isn't a game, it's a real deal work out video. My gf had the pc version, so I bought her the xbox version and I found it to be pretty cool. If you have neighbors below you, however, you may not want to use this. She has you jumping up and running in place, etc. This is a great workout or even as an alternative for added work out variety to your routine. Not sure why they quit making this...I think some sort of legal issue. It's interactive...you enter in all this info about you and your current workout "status" (you do a work out test) and she builds a program for you based on that info and what it is you're looking to do (lose weight, bulk up, etc). This has yoga, too, and it works great (never thought I'd say that). Maya will kick your butt, that I can promise you.Only issue we've run in to is you do set up a schedule. For example, you'll end a session on Tuesday and she'll end that session by reminding you that she'll see you Thursday. Pop this in Thursday and she sometimes (not all the time) thinks it's another day. But not sure if that's my xbox clock or the cd?

Better than nothing, good companion workout
we have an X-box and not a wii (at the time I bought this). I was looking for a interactive workout product, and this had the best reviews. The set up was long, but it does give different plans and workout, but there is now way of it judging how "correctly" you are doing the routine or yoga poses. As you do more workouts more routines and settings are available. I like being able to change the routine and settings depending how I feel and if I ma tired of them.We now also have a Wii Fit. The Wii fit is much more "fun" while Yourself Fitness is more of a serious workout product.I like to use them on alternating days or weeks for a good all around but varied workout routine.

Better than expected
I was expecting a basic workout routine without much variety. This is not the case. One really can personalize this and the workouts are fun and yes challenging. I recommend this to anyone looking for a workout to keep from getting bored with the regular routine. I use Nike Kinect too and my home ellipitical and free weights. This workout incorporates the weights, my step bench, my heart monitor, and, a nice stretching routine/yoga for 15 minutes afterward. I really enjoy it.

awesome idea
I think this is really cool that you can bring the gym to your home. How much more convenient and cheap can it get. Plus you don't have to feel like anyone is watching you. The game is beautiful, and is actually a bit fun. Some moves can be repetitive, and there is not way to delete certian actions from your workout. So i suggest doing a different exercise if you are not capable of doing certian exercises. Also it would be nice if you could add your own music to the game, this is the reason i rated 4 stars not 5.

Great workout!
I bought this because I was using the Kinect system and read some reviews saying this was the best workout for a video game system. It is for the original XBox, but will work with the 360 system. Here's what I found and what I compare it against:Pros:1, The Kinect workouts are nice but they have a lag in between exercises that can be a mini-cool down. I don't want to slow my heart rate, so I don't like this. I want consistency.2, If using the Kinect routines that have a heart monitor it often times will inaccurately read, or not read at all (especially while running in place). So this routine can be used with a nice heart monitor system.3. It will adjust to your needs by asking questions and has an easy to use interface to get you on the right path for what you want.4. Inexpensive to purchase. Little equipment necessary. Gives a great workout if a person is motivated to keep-up.5. Doesn't need to read your movements. Sometimes the Kinect can make me crazy with trying to keep my movements visible enough to track.Cons:1. The only drawback to this program is that it's not the newest. It won't download to the 360 hard drive. If the system fully powers down (is unplugged) the settings are lost.My overall opinion is that if you are like me and have little time to go to a gym to workout, but really want to exercise and want the extra motivation a video gives, this is for you. It's very inexpensive, requires little set-up, is pretty accurate with your degree of fitness if you're accurate with your info going in, and does give a really good workout. As you progress the games intensity progresses. When my disc wears out I will buy another.
