Fabulous Thriller
Whether you're a reader of Thrillers or not, you'll be thrilled by 'Midas'. A must have for all you book worms. Although I have never been to Symi I was transported there in a flash as I lounged in my garden on a rare sunny day, book in one hand, drink in the other, a perfect combination. Visiting the cash machine will never be the same again, I will be forever wondering 'Will Midas be activated today'??? This book would make a fantastic film, one can only hope to see it in the Cinema someday??? I cannot wait to see what Dominic Ranger has up his sleeve for his next book??? I purchased this book mainly due to the excellent reviews and I was not disappointed, this book could definitely spark a paperback 'Gold Rush'.

not for me
I bought this as I know the author. Unfortunately I found it all rather dull, and didn't bother finishing it, which is something I NEVER do. However I just found it incredibly hard going and kind of lost the will to live really. Sorry Mr L, but I gave it a good try, just not my thing!

Great read - couldn't put it down, great setting for a winter great read.
Fantastic read. On a cold winters evening this book transports to the warm sunny holiday islands in and around Greece, the cover warms the desire to read.I struggled to put the book down and read well into the night(s) basking in the sunshine it brought; a fascinating tale with twists and unexpected turns, shocking, yet beautiful at the same time. Please, don't leave it too long for book 2, I will be purchasing it!!

Well done Chris
Thoroughly enjoyed your book even though it is not my usual genre. The plot was very pacey and intriguing and the characters almost universally wicked !!! Great job Mr J. of PGS would be proud!!
