I wanted to reduce the size of my seat post to open up to more dropper manufacturers. This did the trick and I have no problems with the post coming loose. The seat collar hides this adapter as well so it looks seamless.

Works well
This works so well and without worry that I forgot it was on my bike until this review. Used in carbon frame with generous park no slip grease for carbon part mating.

Good fit, no problems
This seatpost shim fits perfectly and keeps my dropper seatpost from slipping. I used a bit of friction paste just to ensure that the seat post won't slip or rotate and I don't have to over cinch the seat post collar which might cause the dropper to bind. It's working great so far.
