WiFi Singal Extender(NO Power Supply Matched) for SAFEVANT Wireless Security Camera System,Signal Booster Between Cameras and NVR Box

Pain in the butt to set up.... but works great

It helped one of my cameras but the camera less then 3” away from the connected camera will not connect. Wasn’t the easiest to setup either.

The powerpack comes separately so go shopping for the type you need so you have some way to plug in the booster (extender). I bought one off amazon that had multi available as pop-ons.The signal - to my security cameras, two on this booster - would go out and then a batch of resetting (unplug/plugging in again). This became routine. (I have a separate review on the cameras and NVR.)Good idea to check the status of your cameras a few times a day, at least morning/noon/night.However, 9 months and the booster stopped working completely.The cameras are still active, I can see by the night vision red lights the power is there, but the booster signal is making a weird clicking noise and the monitor says DISCONNECT.This is the SAFEVANT security camera setup default booster and it's not cheap and neither is it reliable. Unfortunately you might be stuck on a treadmill where you have to repurchase this product over and over again. Maybe buy a few at a time so you don't have downtime waiting on the arrival of the new one?Whenever you have to establish a relationship betw a new booster (extender) and the existing cameras you have to take the cameras involved and reset them with the NVR and then set them with the extender coding process.UPDATE: In less than a year of usage the extender died after squealing very loudly! Then lots of regular clicking noises. I was talking w customer service who sent me a replacement. Again (this has happened with a freebie gift they sent me, a RING type product that was empty of the components that made it work, so it was just the outer box shell) this product is DOA on arrival.I wish I'd never gotten on the SAFEVANT treadmill.

The range extenders help but are difficult to set up and do not extend the range as much as hoped. Suspect much has to do with composition of walls, i.e., cinder blocks offer more resistance than other material siding.

The camera system is fabulous, but here in Texas houses and yards are big so it is understandable that some cameras are at the limit of range. This extender works great and with diligent reading of the instructions it is easy enough to implement it. I did put a sticker over the LED lights so it is not so bright at night.

cuse signal extenders do work (I've ordered 3 more to make my house fully convered with reliable camera connections to the NVR). Throughout the process of identifying weak signal consequences I was wonderfully supported the Safevant"s customer support service. Kudos to the agent whose name is Melody!

I was having trouble getting a strong signal with a couple of cameras that were too far from the NVR. This wifi extender does the trick. This is a must if you are having signal issues withe the Safevant system.

Si me arrepiento de comprarlo, para mi nome sirvió o tengo muchas paredes (solo 1) pero no llega o amplifica la señal; pregunté a soporte de la compañía pero hace preguntas tontas de nivel 0. Ya me fastidio y no conteste. Espero cambiar el próximo año las cámaras
