Took a chance and....
Ok so I didn't see any reviews for the almond but took a chance. I've been using Castile soaps since I was a kid, but in the last 5 years or so, the almond one has become the king of our house (and RV). That being said, I was on Amazon about to order more Dr. Bronners when this one popped up in the results. I had never heard of it, but seeing that it's made in my home state of North Carolina... why not? My husband and I tried it and came to similar conclusions when comparing to the other brand:We can smell both almond and olive at the same time - we didn't expect that. It's lovely and pleasant, but if you don't like how olives smell, don't get this scent. The viscosity and level of suds is about the same.No perceivable difference in effectiveness when using as a household cleaner. It's gentler on the skin. I use it to wash my face and it does not dry my skin as much as the other one did. We both use it as a body wash too and feel like our skin feels softer after the fact. And last but not least, love that the label is nice and uncluttered. To the unitiated and house guests, the other brand's label can be pretty "weird" and "hippie-ish". Haha.In a nutshell, we would not hesitate to buy this again. I would love to see this sold locally, and will be telling other friends about it.

CAROLINA CASTILE SOAP IS FAR SUPERIOR TO DR. BRONNERS PEPPERMINT SOAP HANDS DOWN.
I read all of the reviews before buying this soap because I was a Dr. Bronner Peppermint Soap lover, and I had mixed feelings about my purchase because I had never tried this brand of soap before--and Dr. Bronners Soap was, in my opinion at the time, the very best soap! DB soap lovers know what I mean here. So many people said things like "it is thinner than DB", or "not as much Peppermint as DB", so I was a bit wary but the pricing was much better than DB, so I decided to give it a chance. So I wonder who all those obvious trolls were in the review section here at Amazon who said all those petty, stupid and outright ludicrous things about this wonderful Soap Company. I know exactly how good Dr. Bronner's is. CAROLINA SOAP COMPANY IS BETTER. IN EVERY WAY. I am a person who has used Dr. Bronner's for over 20 years "religiously" (haha) and I won't be switching back to them unless Carolina Soap Company stops making soap. I even used them in a side by side comparison and Dr. Bronners has NOTHING on this soap. This is a top of the line company with a superior product, and it is a company that really cares about their customers. The Peppermint smell is strong, the lather is just as good as DB, and the after feel on your skin is much nicer and softer than DB. I could go on--but you would think they hired me to promote their product--and they haven't: It is just that good. I want everyone to know. Good products are hard to find. I hope others find this one.

Am delighted with Carolina Castile
The liquid Castile soap works perfectly in a foaming soap dispenser! It’s gentler on my skin! Within 24 hours of switching to CC, my hands started to smooth out! Ingredients are high quality! The sage lime scent is more sage than lime, imo. The scent dissipates reasonably fast and is pleasant overall. I have used Castile Doc Bronners brand before, and Carolina Castile seems better for me and WAY better than Dial or Softsoap choices, which were harsh to my skin. I just ordered another bottle of CC to try another scent! It’s good stuff!

Not as good as it's competitor (Dr. Bronnor Castile Soap)
Bought this as a new trial.Cleanses well. A good competitor with Dr. Bronnors' castile soap of which I usually buy. However, this soap takes approximately 2-3 lathers opposite of its competitor with 1-2 lathers for a complete clean. This soap is a tad higher than Dr. Bronnors' by $1.00+. Therefore, making this brand expensive to use.Dr. Bronnors' soap is a better bang for your buck as it is very concentrated so you can make it stretch 1:4 (1 bottle can make 4 bottles diluted and still have strength to clean). Carolinas' brand 1:2. You can't really stretch this brand and still get the quality.I will only purchase this brand again if I can't find Dr. Bronnors'. I will continue with Dr. Bronnor's castile soap.

10 stars. Amazing foam hand soap. Recipe below!
Wish I could give 10 stars! Just as high quality as the Dr. B brand. Much more budget friendly. I just made the most amazing foaming hand soap. And I plan on making several bottles of household cleaner as well. The soap arrive packaged well and there was zero leakage during shipping. Very natural and not too strong lemon smell. Love it!Foaming hand soap:Add to a foam soap dispenser distilled (or boiled for 10 min. water) to about 1 inch from top, along with 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract, 1/2 tsp.carrier oil (almond, olive, vit.E,grapeseed etc.) 1/2 tsp. vegetable glycerin, 10 drops lemon essential oil and at the end 3 tbls. of this lovely lemon castile soap. Close and shake well. Enjoy!Note: adding the carrier oil is optional but will extend the life of soap dispenser and pump much much longer! :)

Good soap
I bought this to shower with after a session in the spa. The peppermint is invigorating and my skin seems to itch less than it normally does in the winter. I would buy again.

Amazing new scent for a great Castille soap
This is amazing Castille soap with a great new scent (sage lime). Carolina Castille soaps are consistently better than the other brand Dr. B. Their scents are nicer and the soap does not dry out my skin like the other brand. I also use their other scents - unscented, peppermint, lavender, and tea tree oil for household cleaning, foaming hand soap, and in the shower as body soap. I definitely recommend this company’s products for anyone with sensitive skin or skin issues. Plus they are local to home in NC.

No more drying soaps
While this soap smells heavenly, it leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturized. I have even used it on my face. I will be ordering again.

Sapone diz Castiglia per me Nr 1

So much froth
This liquid soap is a little less thick than most of the others I've used but it definitely does the job and with less. The lavender smell isn't shy, this stuff definitely wants to remind you its lavender every time you use it which is quite pleasant.Works great for the usual uses of liquid soap and 3.8 litres will last you out of the latest global pandemic

Beautiful soap, love this flavour.
Love this soap but I would not use it as a body wash , it can leave your skin quite dry and for me itchy. But as a hand wash it’s amazing.
