Esoterik Guitars DR1 Solid-Body Electric Guitar, Natural Finish

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to play this guitar yet, so I can't really comment on it's performance other then to say that I've seen several video reviews and all of them had nothing but great things to say. From what I can tell, the guitar sounds as amazing as it looks but without actually playing it - I can only give it 4 stars.That said, I would like to take a moment to comment on the customer service I received with regards to product-related questions I had for the Esoterik team. Simply put, these guys are the real deal. They were very quick with their responses and offered great information on the product when I wrote to them. If you're like me - the guitar is just as important as the people who make it. When you make in an investment on a high quality instrument, you want to know that you have a high-quality team standing behind the instrument. I have had my DR1 for years now. It is absolutely the finest instrument I have ever played! The attention to details in the design and build of this guitar are nothing short of amazing. If you want the ultimate in tone, sustain and feel, then you have come to the right place. The first thing that caught my eye was the natural beauty of the wood grain. The feel of the DR1 is both organic and refined. Everything from the neck to the concave back just feels right. This guitar can pull off a range of sounds from Jazz to Blues to Metal. The DR2 and DR3 models are are both impressive, but I'm saving up right now for the ESO-C Custom model !

I've been in the music industry for years; endorsed and played many guitars. it's both refreshing and rare to see such a fairly new company with such a huge vision and immense pride in what they do. From the first time I played an Esoterik guitar I was instantly hooked. I first discovered Esoterik Guitars at NAMM back in 2011.The Esoterik's are just an easy guitar to play. They have such a definitive sound and the tone woods make the guitar sound quite unique. The neck-through body design keeps the guitar in tune when in travel through different climates and the dual truss rods make adjustments that would satisfy the most picky of players. These guitars are meticulously hand made in California. Absolutely worth every penny. An axe like this will be with you for a lifetime. There is not one feature on this guitar that is a con, all pros. A solid musical instrument that is better than other guitars I've played that were much more expensive. I am so happy to have found Esoterik, and am so impressed with this purchase.

I have owned many guitars over the years…. but nothing like this. The guitar just felt right in my hands. The intonation was perfect and the tuning stability is nothing short then AMAZING! If you are looking for a guitar that will last the test of time, then I suggest you spend the cash and get yourself an Esoterik Guitar!

These are truly beautiful guitars, in both the visual and audio perspective. The design is unique, and fits your body. The finish is fantastic, and the sound is great.
