These were bought along with the rest of haircut equipment shown in photo. I know nothing about haircutting or how to tell gear quality since I'm just an average citizen, so all I am rating by is do they do what I want them to - let me cut my own hair decently.They're sharp enough alright and I don't feel any hair snagging or getting ripped instead of cleanly cut. The gap-y scissor does the thinning thing just fine. Combined with other haircut tools, some Youtube DYI tutorial, they let me cut my own hair well enough that my friends were surprised at how well my hair looked already on first try. For average folks who're looking to save money by doing haircuts or just trimming and upkeep themselves at home, these are great tools at a good price.

These work just fine for me to cut my husband's hair during Covid but you can tell they are fairly cheap ... not heavy in the sense of being well made to last

I wasn't sure what to expect for quality with the great price this set was. This set is awesome! The thinning shears in particular are superb. My hair came out excellent using mainly the thinning shears and finishing off with the regular shears around the ears and the bottom of the back of the head. This set makes cutting hair easy. This is my first time using shears, so I did watch a few online videos on technique.

These are okay. I bought them in April and have used them three times. By the third time they had dulled and produced frayed ends when cutting. The comfort inserts popped out almost immediately. The thinning shears work great but the scissors are not meant for thick hair.

This is my first pair of hair cutting scissors I’ve purchased. For the price, I was expecting a lot less quality. They are super awesome - especially for the price! That first “snip” was a very pleasant surprise. They are smooth and sharp and cut my daughter’s hair very well.

When I first open the package it seemed like this might have been a used product with how it was packed. When I took a closer at the scissors the straight pair seemed to be cleaned. However, the thinning pair seemed to have some left over residue of something. You can see there was some on the top of the teeth blade side and then you can also notice that there was some in between some of the teeth. I don’t know if this was from another persons use or if they just lack a cleaning when they are being manufactured and instead just get shipped out right away assembly. Guess I’m going to have to spend some extra time cleaning this before I feel safe using them to cut my hair.With regarding the quality of the blades themselves they seem like a decent quality for the price. Seem sturdy while I hold them I like the grips on the inside of the finger holds to prevent slipping of the fingers.

Faaaar from a professional stylist here but I cut my young daughters’ hair with these and my husband’s hair when we were in covid quarantine. They work great!

It took a while to get to us but we are very pleased with the quality of the scissors. Also comes with a comb and clips to hold your hair as you cut all in a nice case.

What a waste of money. The cutting scissors were fine for the edge closest to the handle however the edge one inch to the tip did not cut one bit. Don't waste your time and money on this junk
