These are great bulbs so far.
I purchased one of each wattage. 9w warm white, 9w daywhite, 12w daywhite, 16w daywhite, and 20w daywhite. I installed 4 new porch light fixtures and installed one of each daywhite in each fixture so I could see them all at one time. These lights are bright! The picture is attached. The 9 watt daywhite is only slightly less bright than the others, and I can not tell a difference between the 12w, 16w, and 20 watt in brightness. They are larger with more LEDs, but in function no one can tell a difference. These bulbs are great and I will buy more of the 12w version, as from what I have tested the extra money for the 16w and 20w is not justified. The color of the 9w, 12w and 16w are identical. The 20w has a hint more blue to it.In the picture, the far left is 9w, just right of that is the 12w. On the right side, the close is 16w and the far one is the 20w.

Very Bright with amazing 360 coverage.
I will keep this review updated but as of right now I bought these to see if maybe I can get more real-world 360 degree converage. The other LED bulbs are great but are true 360 degrees in all directions. One CON about it is that it has a small hint of blue but I can’t get enough how bright and wide the spread of the light is. Let’s see how long they hold up. ALSO... A SIDE NOTE...the spiral clear enclosure IS glass and will break, still works after breaking but be warned. Hope this helps.

Good for floor lamps in rooms with vaulted ceilings.
I purchased this bulb for a floor lamp in a room with a vaulted ceiling. While not as bright as a halogen bulb, the color temperature is certainly a lot whiter; and is significantly brighter than mere 100W LED bulbs. Depending on room size, you may need more than one floor lamp, but this bulb certainly seems to be about as good as is currently available at a reasonable price. However, if this bulb should fail prematurely, I'll be back to adjust my rating. :-)

In way of the brightness this is comparable to the ...
In way of the brightness this is comparable to the 1600 lumen lights on the market. The difference is this is higher on the kelvin scale, so the light has far far less 'yellow' to its tint. its a solid white light.comparing to a compact fluorescent bulb, these use about 2/3 of the watts and don't take much if any time to 'warm up' to full light. That in mind, compacts are cheaper for the upfront costs, but if you assume average life span of both to be 5 years, the watt difference will make these more cost effective after 2 years and 4 months of normal use in a kitchen (a room your more likely to have or keep a light on for extended times). These can be used in any of your normal 60 watt or 100 watt outlets. So long as you are not pulling more than the rating of the outlet and the bulb fits the socket (mind the sizes). Do keep in mind, this is a little bit taller then other bulbs so don't put this into a lamp or overhead that isn't covered for the height of the bulb.

Good bulb, color temprature not quite rite.
Bought this bulb when I decided to add another can light to my kitchen. The 5 original LED bulbs I used are no longer made so I tried this one.I have no problem with the quality of the bulb.Only gave it four stars because the color temperature looks closer to 30000K instead of the warm white 27000K advertised. This could be due to the original bulbs being four years old. They may have changed over time. The new bulb works great with the dimmer I use on all bulbs. If you're doing a new install these bulbs are nice. I like the 30000K temperature, it just doesn't quite match my old bulbs.

Very bright lights but still can't tell the brightness difference bet. 16W vs 25W??
Just received them today and installed them on my exterior garage lights. It is very bright but I still can't tell the difference between this 16W and higher wattage... It seems all same brightness. I would go with this 16W model. It is plenty bright and 20W or higher won't make any difference.I am yet to see how long these bulbs will last... I will update when that time comes. As far as the initial quality is concerned, it is a well made product and meets all item descriptions.

Excellent for outside lights.
Excellent brightness instant light, vast improvement over CFLs that I used on my porch and deck. In the cold weather (-20F) it would take 5-10 minutes for the CFLs to actually output sufficient light to see anything on my deck, these are instantly full brightness and have a much longer advertised lifetime with much lower power consumption.

Terrible life span
I bought this in October and it is already dead in February, only 3 1/2 months life span. The light was only on at night so it only lasted for about 1260 hours. I replaced it with the incandescent that was in the fixture originally. The incandescent is working fine after more than 6 months.
