This is nice, bigger than I thought it would be. I have no mess on the floor after my cat eats. I wish the bowls were a bit farther apart since my cat manages to get her food into the water while eating.

Exactly what I was looking for. Only this is I wish I could get additional metal bowls to go with it.

Good for those cats who are messy eaters. i have two cats who are not food aggressive so i use both sides for food for each cat and they eat together. the height is good and its shallow so no whisker fatigue! the metal bowls are easy to pop out and clean but aren't too lose that my cats knock them out, they fit perfectly snug. may seem a little pricey for a food dish but i think its worth it!

Super easy to clean, perfect for cats.My cats love making a mess with their wet food. They flick it around, get it all over their faces and used to make a mess of their dishes. Luckily, this food dish solves my issues on several fronts:EASY TO CLEAN: The U-channel all the way around + the fact that the dish structure is a single material make this super easy to clean! Just wipe and done!My old dish was more of the standard variety you can get everywhere - Small deep bowls, metal construction, rubber gaskets everywhere. But I was sick of pulling those gaskets off to clean & they always seemed to be collecting food in crevices immediately, potential for the metal to rust was always a concern.... (Some reviewers say that they don't like that there isn't some sort of grippy material to keep these dishes from moving. I can see that they would, but I counter-act this by simply having the bowls up against a wall - the design keeps the dishes far enough away from the wall, so no mess there either.)WIDE, SHALLOW DISHES: Great feature - Cats used to bang their teeth against their tiny deep food bowls trying to eat. Now they can lick everything up with potentially damaging themselves.EXTENDED BOWL RIMS: Nice that these bowls have rims that extend outward to the edge of the channel, my cats make much less of a mess as food doesn't seem to find it's way under the edges and simply falls into the channels to be licked away.

I ordered this feeder so I could offer my picky foster cat some food options. Now he can have 2 wet food choicesor a choice between wet and dry food. The stainless steel trays lift out easily for cleaning. The holder has a nice curved lip which helps to catch any dribbles.

Dishes are the perfect size for both water and canned or dry cat food Very pleased the solidness of the plastic dish holder. The "moat" collects all the spills from our messy eater kitties!
