So I've owned many different round timers, from the outlandishly pricey pro timers to the teeny and fragile Gymboss, and this is by far the worst of them. I disregarded the warnings of other buyers who said that this timer was difficult to use, thinking, "Meh, how hard can it be? This device need only do one thing, really---time rounds of various duration and off-round intervals of various durations---so how tough can it be?"The answer, alas, is: nigh impossible.The written directions make no sense whatsoever. I searched online for useful directions; there was nothing. I fiddled for hours and although at times it SEEMED that I had it figured out, if you turn the damnable thing off it erases all of your settings, and because it's such a counterintuitive hunk of hateful junk, I could never get it right again. And you can forget about changing helpful optional settings such as alarm volume, alarm duration, and so on.You won't get any help from the manufacturer, either, as they have no contact information available anywhere that I could find---online, on the written directions, quote unquote, that came with it, or on the product itself. It's as if the manufacturer is ashamed of having manufactured it and want nothing now to do with it or its miserable purchasers.In fact, it's so useless and so frustrating that it raises the ugly possibility that it's not really a product in the conventional sense but more like a scam. I'm tempted to smash it open to see if it has any working parts inside or just the broken dreams of orphaned children and hate mail from the Manson family and friends.Are we allowed to lobby for Amazon to stop carrying certain products? If so: please, for the love, quit selling this agony-in-the-box.

When I received my shipment we actually didn't even see the round timer at first, it was smaller than I had expected but hangs handily on the wall. You can set how many rounds, how long each round and how long each break between rounds, which works perfectly for mma/boxing/circuit training. The auto-off is nice post-workout, especially for home workouts, not having to worry about turning it off or wasting batteries as a result. It's simple once you take five minutes to figure the whole thing out, tho the directions kinda suck and the yellow up/down arrows are misleading as they don't function like they appear to, but the volumes completely controllable and gets plenty loud if you need to turn it up over music or anything, and the comparably priced Everlast and Title timers I've seen aren't really comparable.

Works as described, easy to program and use. I'm not sure why others would have problems using this, with the exception that they DIDN'T read the instructions, which are straightforward. C'mon, people, you could read well enough to buy things on Amazon, but can't take the time to read a couple of VERY short sentences (with accompanying graphics) to help you use what you bought!? Give YOURSELF one star!It's small, light and sturdy, w/battery operation, so I can take it to the local park and do interval calesthenics & related workouts. Completely meets my needs, and also easy on the wallet! If there were one thing that I could complain about, it would only be that the packaging was really huge compared to the product. However, I also can understand the need to protect the contents, based on the condition (!) of other mail order products I have received.

The timer worked fine. However, I ordered it because it was suppose to be very loud. And it was not. I could not hear it over the fans in the gym.

Hard to understand instructions. ...does what it says ...but alarm not loud enough when doing training. Needs more volume next model !

This is a great timer...when you can get it programed the way you want. I managed to get it programed only twice for intervals. As a count down timer, it works well. Trying to set it for intervals was a pain. Perhaps I got one that wasn't working right, but I honestly only managed to get it programed twice for intervals. And I used the same method over and over trying to get it to work. I sent it back and ordered another Gymboss to replace my broken one. I really wanted this timer to work because of the loud alarm, large display and cool little light:-( Huge disappointment.

Pretty simple product and does what I want it to do for interval training. The controls take some getting used to and are a bit of a pain to set up. But, once I got the setting done, I just left it alone between workouts. That way it automatically shuts off and keeps the program until the batteries run dry...then you have to start over again, which means figuring out the controls again. Other than that, it keeps on running...

I needed a timer for interval training that was light, loud and simple to use. I found this clock and it seemed to fit the bill. In any case, it works as expected and does what I need. I'm pretty lazy about writing reviews but the reason I really had to submit one was due to the customer service I received. I happened to be careless and accidentally dropped a weight on the clock which cracked the LCD. Inventico Corp asked me send back the damaged clock. They replaced the LCD free of charge and shipped the clock back to me in working condition. If they sold other products, I would try them as well.
