I bought this men’s vented hairbrush to replace my old beat-up one, and it does exactly what I needed. It’s lightweight, the vents help the air from the dryer move through my hair so it dries a little faster, and the handle has a nice grippy texture that doesn’t slip even when my hands are a bit damp. The bristles are firm enough to detangle without feeling harsh on the scalp, so I can actually give my hair a good brush without it hurting. If I’m being picky, the brush feels a bit more plasticky than my last one and I kind of wish the handle was just a touch longer, but for the price it’s definitly hard to complain. Overall, it’s a simple, no-drama brush that works as expected and is great for everyday use.

Trying to replace my Vent brush I've had for years. Had to return this one. Bristles were too short

This is the third one I've purchased, over the years. Works great drying and styling my hair. The only problem is that the individual bristles, with their rounded ball tips, seem to wear down to their sharp stems after a while. I usually keep using them until they are uncomfortably scratchy, so I opted for the more expensive original version of this brush, rather than the imitation version.

I love my ancient “Vent” brush from The Bobby Co, which may no longer exist. This new brush was made to look like the real Vent, but the stiff material, bigger 2nd bristles, and more make this worthless & it hurts. I tried to use it & live with it, but it’s stiff & doesn’t function the same way. I wish I had sent it back…even Dollar store brushes are better at a fraction of the price!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is the closest brush to the original “vent” brush from years ago I could find. I love it! A little stiff bristles at first, but feels great to scalp! Same size as the original one! I’m a happy camper! I almost cried when I laid the original one to rest. It has been by my side for so many years I can’t count, with bent bristles and missing ones!
