See Your Speed and Traffic at the Same Time!
I recently bought this product so that I could keep my eyes on the road, but see my driving speed at the same time. This product has 100% fulfilled that need. The display arrived quickly and neatly packaged. It is super easy to install, although the directions are a bit limited. It came with a sticky grip that holds it in place on your dash or steering column and does not fall off or leave a sticky residue on your dash. As soon as your turn on your vehicle it quickly calibrates with the GPS system and is ready to work and reports in MPH. What I really like about this HUD is it is LED, so it is really bright on my windshield, as well as very accurate as to my actual speed. The down fall is it is tricky to set the initial time, the buttons feel flimsy, and intermittently the GPS has to sync, so you temporarily lose a speed reading. If you are looking for an overall simple way to keep safer while driving, this little gadget is it. Well worth the money.

Save your money
This is way too complicated, cheap, battery-draining, and inaccurate to bother with. There are 11 menus on this when there should be one - MPG/KPH. All this is done through a single overtaxed rocker/button. The instructions use poor English and are very complicated - but not as much as actually configuring the unit. Its very lightweight and cheap so the tension in the power cord will challenge the adhesive pad to hold it in place. It is bright but the the power stays on when you turn the engine off so that feature will drain your battery. I attached it in a 2006 VW Jetta via OSBII and pulling & reinstalling the connector when I get out/in the car will lead me to soon through it out the window. The accuracy is about 8-10 mph off. At 20 mpg actual it displays 29. At 10 it shows 18. it also comes with an adhesive mounting pad and what looks like a reflective transparent patch that you attache to your window. I really don't know because there is no documentation for that at all. I could have had 3 good cigars for the price of this cheap chinese POS. Save your money and count rate of the white strips passing by and you will likely be more accurate than this garbage.EDIT: Jun-28: I tried the GPS mode to see if the speedometer was any more accurate. The good news is that while parked it reads 0-MPH, but at 10 it reads 18, at 20 mpg it reads 37, at 60 it reads 84, at 80 it reads 117. It was definitely reading MPG not KPH. So, save your money and look elsewhere.

PERFECT
Was at first not sure about how this thing would operate. Instructions are lacking, so I youtube and that also was no help. Gave up and just plugged it into the OBD to see what happens. It was already to go in MPH and the RPM. Wasn't sure about it staying in place, and thought I would give it a shot at not including the screen on the windshield. Good move, this thing was bright and clear in full sunshine and it didn't bounce around. Am a happy camper with this since we are pulling a 38 foot 5th wheel. Need to keep the eyes on the road as much as possible. Just what the doctor ordered!

Fantastic device to view your speed without taking your eyes off the road!
This device has been something I've always wanted in a vehicle and now i have finally achieved that dream all thanks to Amazon!I just want to point out the immediate CONS as people look for those first typically before they purchase anything online.CONS----1. Da#! near impossible to see with polarized sunglasses. If you want to have a chance to see, please use the reflective piece of plastic that it comes with when you open the box.Other than that this think has little cons that i found during my first week of using this out on the road. But now i will explain all of the PROS that this nifty device has to offer.PROS-----1. It has an auto-brightness feature built in so its not blinding on the eyes. For example i have to commute to work every morning at 4AM and it has not bothered me at all with its brightness in the crack of the morning. As the day goes it it will get brighter and you will notice it but its just enough to see what is necessary.2. The decorative mode of it displaying how fast you're going is an awesome feature that should not be overlooked. If you're able to use it then use it. It gives this device a unique feature among all the others i have seen with my own personal eyes.3. Right out of the box this thing is super easy to install! You take your OBD port and plug it into the device itself. Then plop it down on your dashboard and you really don't have to do much else to it after that! It's that simple. If it is not calibrating, just follow the instructions that are in the amazon's description for this. It better explains everything you need to know as the instruction manual has the bare minimum information.**I just want to make note of a minor thing. If your windshield is laminated, this will produce a double vision of the HUD displayed on the windshield. A quick way to check to see if your windshield is to look at your driver side window at the bottom right-hand corner. It will either say laminated, tempered, or anything else you have. If you still see a mirrored vision on the windshield, please use the reflective piece of plastic this comes with as i stated above. If you are bothered by this kind of thing then it will be best to look for a different product because this is what you will have to use. If you're not bothered, then FANTASTIC! You've just purchased the coolest thing you can put in your car! Also when you're going higher speeds on the highway (80MPH/90MPH), the readings can be 1-3mph off than what it shows on your actual on-board speedometer. Just again check the description of this item on amazon to see how to calibrate it. It has to be done while you are moving but it takes less than a few seconds so it shouldn't be much of a problem!I will update this in 1 month's time to see if anything has changed or failed to display after prolonged use.

It works but placement is tricky
The device isn't hard to install if you have some plastic panel pry sticks, that is if you want it installed behind the dash so no wire is running up from under the dash. The placement is the trickiest part though. I suggest you install it in the day and wait till the night for the placement of the unit as night time viewing is much easier. The units on screen setup is trickey and most cars will require a little adjustment to lock into the speedometer of the car properly. I've had friends purchase other units and will say the instructions included were much easier to read then theirs. I don't care too much for the blue and red flashing when the unit is turned on though, I'm afraid it will lead to a ticket if some cop thinks I am trying to mimic them. Bottomline, it's a decent unit and works. Would I purchase it again? Probably not, I hate the glare of the numbers from the supply unit at night if viewed from outside the car. The auto dim does well but I wish the box of the unit had higher walls to prevent this.
