As described it is real wood. Kind of flimsy because it is so thin. So applying it to the dock may b result in breakage if mishandled. Also the tape on the back is so sticky once you stick it to the dock, say more than 20% surface area, you will not be able to take it off to reposition it. Once you stick it. That's it. It wont come off unless you break it. Which is good because then it won't just fall off. But there's no turning back.

It looks all right, but it's not nearly as nice as the pictures. It's real wood, but it looks like raw wood with an emblem burned into it with no finish applied to it (because it is).The adhesive is actually a little bit TOO strong relative to the skin itself. It's very unforgiving. If it touches the surface more than just a little bit while you're trying to get it positioned right, you can't get it back off without risking damage to the skin. I'm a little bit worried about damage to the plastic of the dock if I ever remove it.
