Fel-pro, it's the only way to go!
These are great gaskets. I like the metal the screws go through so you don't over tighten the gasket and push it out creating a leak. They fit perfectly on the 283 ci. That is in my '63 c10. They are a thick rubber with a metal core so they keep their shape well. The functionality of this gasket being reusable is amazing because I initially put on one valve cover backwards. Being able to remove the valve cover and reinstall it without the gasket ripping or deforming is a great quality.

Felpro valve cover gaskets
These worked Perfectly to seal my oil leakage from back of valve cover mine was leaking on the driver side, used on 1969 c15 GMC with 1976 350 SBC. Definitely recommended, these are rubber with steel bolt hole inserts installed without any issues no more oil leaks!!

Good as Gold!
Perfect fit for 77' Corvette with GM 5.7L V8 350 Small Block Engine.I replaced the original 1977 Factory GM cork gasket that was crumbling and leaking like a sieve. Even a little bit of oil spread out across an engine looks like a ton. Remember to clean lifter arms / valves from visible build-up and crud / gunk while you have the covers off.Parts cleaner works great at freeing crud and evaporates quickly. I used rags and flat blade screwdriver to clean of old gaskets prior to installation. You want mating surface of valve covers nice and clean for new gaskets. I used a Shop-vac and rags for vacuuming and wiping up any leftover crumbs from the old cork gasket and clumps of grease buildup crud. If valve covers aren't new, use a small hammer to bang out any dips in metal around bolt holes from over-torquing covers prior to installing gaskets. I applied a thin coat of 3M weatherstrip adhesive to the bottom of the valve covers to hold them in place while installing. Don't go overboard with the 3M weatherstrip adhesive or whatever you use, the Fel-Pro gaskets do the job at sealing and the adhesive is simply holds them in place while installing - less is more. When re-installing, don't overtighen bolts, next check for leaks and if there's no leaks then you installed it properly. Fel-Pro is good as gold!Tip: For old valve covers, now is the best time to spray them down with degreaser/soak them in Evaporust and give them a fresh coat of paint prior to putting on the new gaskets and re-installing.

The Best...
these gaskets rock! still to this day the area around the valve covers is dry as a bone. no more oil wicking thru the cork type of gaskets. make sure when you install them you mount them correctly. there is an up and down orientation. pricey but very worth it!

They really work.
This is what I was looking for. Spent years trying to fix the rear corner valve cover leaks. Should have ordered these from the beginning. They are more expensive, but because they work. Wish I purchased these years ago.
