I changed 3 monitor mounts and this is the only one that actually holds the Atomos Ninja V to my camera hot shoe.It doesn’t get loose and it holds the monitor while gives you the option to change it up and down for viewing.Make sure you secure it right when you mount it. After that it’ll hold and it’ll make your life easy. No need to open and unscrew knobs.This will do the job like the small rig mount but straight on a hot shoe (no cage needed)

Setting up my new GoPro Hero 7 for an external Rode Microphone I noticed this mount holder on some Youtube videos describing recommended external accessories and how to attach them to the camera frame. This was the perfect add on mount to get the additional height I needed to keep the wind muff out of the camera's field of view.

The tilt arm works pretty the way as I expected. Good quality. Probably I would like to have it rotating in its basis along the vertical axis but on the other hand it is doesn't so often need to have the monitor faced to the side. Now it's quite comfortable to tilt the monitor along its horizontal axis. I hope that it won't get loose during the time. The cold shoe on the side of the bracket is great for mounting a microphon. So far I'am satisfied with this purchase.

I like everything about this thus far. I really thought it was 2 in the order. Other than that. It’s cool. Will update later if needed

I don't like to give bad reviews but this one is pretty bad, the design of this causes the screws to come loose when ever you move the monitor around on the camera. I had high hopes for this but I guess they are right the you say you get what you pay for.I tried lock tight and different screws but there was no saving this one.Stay away

UPDATE: The seller replied and stated that the tilt screw is intentionally tight and not meant to be adjusted. Rather, with the monitor mounted, you just tilt it without loosening this hex screw. To be honest, how would I have known this? Every other mount I've used in the past thirty years requires that you loosen then tighten a screw when tilting. Now that I know, I've upgraded my rating to three stars. Were they to have included directions indicating this, I would have given it four starts, as I wouldn't have broken a perfectly good hex driver.FIRST TRY: I ordered three of these things. I tried to open the hex screw for the tilt part on one of them. This screw was frozen so tight that using an expensive hex key carefully inserted stripped the hex part of the screw. I then tried a second one and this time, I used an expensive ball end hex key. This time, the tilt screw was so frozen that the ball broke off the hex key. The sad thing is, I like the way these things are designed. They are small and don't get in the way. But they are made so poorly that they should get zero stars. Look elsewhere.

I purchased this to use with my Bestview 7inch field monitor, it also can hold a Rode Mic, well-built metal construction, I highly recommend.
