The BSIMB M14 13.3" digital photo frame is a very nice digital picture frame. One of the best I have seen. The remote control does seem to be a bit slow to respond but I didn't consider that to be a problem once I got used to it. The frame is very good at rendering pictures, very good resolution. Pictures that I took with my high resolution DSLR camera fill the entire screen. Pictures that I took with my phone camera don't fill the screen but look very nice, good resolution. I haven't played with the settings to see if that can be changed. I did see some options for stretching, fill, etc for the way the pictures are displayed. I just left that setting on the default. It doesn't really bother me, all the pictures are rendered very well by the digital picture frame. The slide show works very well. You can set the frequency for the slide show. Also, there are various settings for how the transitions between pictures are handled during the slide show, fade, rotate, etc. The motion detection works well and is a very nice feature. The frame will go off after the period of time that you specify as the sleep time, then it will automatically turn back on when someone approaches the picture frame. Very nice feature I think. The picture frame can also play videos. I did not try playing videos since I don't think I will ever play videos on the frame. I'm sure it handles videos quite well based on my experience with other features. The frame can also play music using several popular music formats. I loaded some MP3 files to try it. The sound is OK. I wouldn't expect the best fidelity considering just one speaker. Still sounds nice, this is a picture frame, not a MP3 player so I didn't expect high quality. My girlfriend loved the sound. It is really cool that you can play music while the slide show of your pictures is going on. The picture frame has several cool clock faces that you can choose from if you want the frame to act as a clock. There is also a cool calendar feature. You can even run the slide show inside the calendar. I think this is a really nice feature. There is a file browse feature if you want to see the files that are available. Overall, I think the BSIMB M14 digital picture frame is a very nice picture frame. A great addition to any household for displaying all those digital pictures that we take these days. I would highly recommend this picture frame to anyone looking for a nice digital picture frame that is easy to set up and configure.

I always wanted to have a digital picture frame. Nowadays I take lots of pictures on the phone but seldom really going through those pictures again. A digital frame helps to show those valuable memories better. However, I feel that it’s a waste of energy to play the photos all the time when people aren’t around. I bought this digital frame for it’s motion detection function. Make sure you turn on the motion detection in the setup and set the turn off time properly. The motion detection setup is on the second page of setup so you have to scroll down to get it. The manual doesn’t say it clearly. After I got the right setup, everything runs really smooth. The picture is pretty. Every time people get close, the frame starts to show pictures and turned itself off when people leave. Great product.

This digital picture frame worked perfectly at first, but now it malfunctions all the time. The remote almost never worked right out of the box, and now several of the pictures my boyfriend and I loaded on to it won't show up (an error message shows up for the duration of the image then transitions to a working picture), it randomly cycles to the main menu page, and keeps flashing low battery. I'm already past the return window but I am extremely dissatisfied with this product. I'd give zero stars if I could.

Pros:- The screen looks very nice- Playing photos on it is very easy- Very lightweightCons:- It doesn't apply all your settings when you first turn it on- It randomly turns on at times (With the Power On option enabled)- It doesn't really play GIFs. They run slow.- The device itself is rather slowI do like the photo viewing on it. They look really nice. One feature I liked was the Power On option. You can set a time for the device to automatically turn on or off at a set time. This turned out to be the feature that annoyed me the most. I planned to use this as an additional alarm clock. I set it for 8am and went to bed. It turned on at 3:19, waking me up. I turned it off and went back to sleep. At 5:42 it turned on again. I then unplugged it until the next night. That night I plugged it back in, reset all the settings, set it all up again, and was woken up at 6:18.I also couldn't get the motion sensing to work, but I didn't really care to use it. I plan on returning this unit and hoping another one won't have these issues.

The media could not be loaded.  Altho I was looking for something smaller, this digital frame checked all the right boxes: FHD, motion sensor, music player & had a coupon that made the price very competitive.Have not tried videos but the picture quality is very good & the motion sensor works fine. Setup was very easy: just plugged in a USB drive with JPEGs & MP3s & it automatically started playing.The reason for 4 stars (cons):* The animations between pictures can be a bit janky and sometimes the screen will flicker* It will only play 1 song. I tried setting it to "Repeat All" & "Random" but still would only play the 1 song over and over* Very slow to respond to the remote; you have to wait a second or 2 after you press the button* Instruction manual is not very clear but most of it can be figured out relatively easilyThis is a decent digital frame with a lot of features for the price. Despite a few minor issues, it is still a decent buy for the price.

Worked well for 5 months, then began shutting off after 3 seconds regardless of the activity (moving menus) or whether the SD card was in or not. E-mailed bsimb.cc for warranty replacement without a response. Do not buy; try a manufacturer North American, Taiwanese, etc based that has actual warranty support and makes a quality product.Follow up, they replaced it for free after sending a video of the issue.
