Kakadu Pet Empire Tracks Extendible Lead, Long Nylon Leash

I have 2 of these leashed for about 5 yrs now, and am just replacing them with these newer ones because they are getting beat up after being dragged around over the river and through the woods - yes, I have Huskies. The old ones still work fine, they just look like they've been through the ringer, and I wanted nice, new ones since I noticed the great prices and colors. I love being able to adjust the length on these because I like to keep my dogs closer in stores and crowds, but give them more freedom on regular walks. Whatever length you adjust them to, they stay securely. These are sturdy, nice-looking leashes, and the 3/4" width is more than sufficient for my 3 50-65lb pullers. I bought 5 of these because I couldn't decide on colors, but they are worth it and should last for years as the previous ones have.

I got about 7 months of use out of this, until the clasp just broke. Luckily I was at the vet when this happened and they were able to replace it for me. My dog's also a bit of a chewer and there were certain areas of the leash that were looking like they were about to break if it wasn't for that. Lastly, I thought it'd be convenient that this leash was adjustable, but in actuality it's annoying having part of it that loops around (if you have it on the shorter side) -- just gets tangled in things more easily. I hesitated between 2 and 3 stars since all in all, $5 for 7 months of use isn't bad. But I'm surprised at all the 5 star reviews given how disposable this product is.

Beautiful quality leash at a good price and very quick delivery. I really do not use the extendible feature and have adjusted it to the length that works best for my dog. I can see its usefulness if you wish to give your dog a longer lead. Far superior to any of the extendible pull-out leads that allow the dogs to be alpha during the walk and can wrap around other dogs and people and cause injury. I liked this so much I ordered a second one for my other dog. The handle is very comfortable as it is padded.

This is a great product! The leash is very strong, light weight and beautiful bright color! I ordered brown and love the color. Thoughtfully designed handle is very comfortable. Hardware, the clip, is very strong and neat. Leash is adjustable and that's a great plus! I have a 45 lbs golden doodle and can handle him well with this. As the leash is soft, need to be watchful that it is not being chewed on by my buddy. Only one suggestion that I would like to mention, if a D ring could be added to it near the handle (to attach poop bag holder), that will make it a 6 star Product:)Overall, very happy with this purchase and hence, had to do this review, my first ever on Amazon.

Excellent lead and excellent price. Nice quality nylon and handle in leads have soft cushion for your hands. You can extend leads easily to say about 6 feet. I don't extend them at all because my dog stays rather close to my side when walking. Purchased several matching harnesses and leads from this merchant. Would definitely purchase again.

DO NOT BUY THIS LEASH. I’ve owned two of them. The first one I bought was useless after five months, as there was a tear in it. I really like the construction of the leash, so I thought I’d give it another shot, and replaced it. This one was useless after less than a month. The entire bottom part of the leash is shredded. Deceptive design – really really shoddy. Stay away!

This leash is sturdy and comfortable to use on long walks with its padded handle. I have dogs that love to pull (huskies) so I need a strong leash. I love the fact that I can adjust the length when I need to keep my dog closer to me as we hike/walk in areas with a lot of bikers. I've purchased similar ones from different manufacturers because I wanted dark colors, and they have not held up as the handle have broken on them or their clips have broken.

The leash is great quality and very sturdy. The only reason why this review is 4/5 stars is because I used Prime and expected my leash to come in 2 days; however, it got lost in the mail took almost a week. Even so, this is a great leash for my Shiba Inu and we love the grip.
