Marika Women's Brooke High Rise Tummy Control Capri Legging

I thought the fit of these was ok so I kept them, but after working out on them, I am not a fan. The fabric is not super breathable and the elastic / seam on the footholds and waist is super uncomfortable. Very itchy and rubs into the skin. Major bummer.

HATE, HATE, HATE THE NEW FABRIC CHANGE! Marika leggings have been my favorites for YEARS and the Brooke has always been my go-to, but these leggings arrived with a tag saying "NEW FABRIC! buttery soft!" and I hate it. I never would have bought these if I'd known they changed them. I loved the cotton of the original leggings (they are comfy and matte and go with everything) and I can't stand leggings that are shiny and slick, which is what this new material is. Also, the new fabric is WAY TOO STRETCHY. The old cotton blend was flexible to stretch, but strong enough to keep its shape and keep you tight and smoothed (which is the whole point of the "tummy control"). This new fabric doesn't do ANYTHING for you. Even the "slimming" waistband has too much give and folds over. I have always ordered a size small and the new material was so weak and too flexible that these don't even give me any kind of support. They fit like a size medium or large and there's no compression at all with this new fabric. GARBAGE. So upset they changed the material. Now I have to find a new brand of leggings.

Sorry for the TMI but these are amazing for no camel toe!!

UPDATE 12-2019So happy with these, just bought another! Thanks for the quality Marika!!These are outstanding. I particularly love how Marika's done the seams and the fabric for tummy control. They are very comfortable for workout or just being at home. I got mine at a bargain price but they're usually about $30. I don't think they're worth $30. I would buy again at the right price.

I love these for a few reason. One is that they are buttery soft to the touch and yet breathable so I don’t get too hot. Second is I own a white French bulldog and that wirey pet hair always gets embedded in some of my other yoga pant brands! These are so easy to just lint roll and move on! With my other well known brand name yoga pants I have to go over them again and again to remove the pet hair.

Material is nice, but the control top part creates a weird "line" that is uncomfortable and unflattering. I keep putting g them on and then taking them off because I can't stand how they look or feel. It actually accentuates a belly line. I bought a pair of these from Marshall's a while ago and they are wonderful. The updated design is not an improvement.

Was surprised to find this deal on amazon, grabbed them quick ... so glad I did as I love themMarika always has great quality just the right thickness just the right stretch. They fit and look great

Love everything about them. I bought several and are very comfortable and do wonders to tuck in the tummy without showing rolls. I get compliments on my slim down even when I didn't slim down. 😁 Only brand I trust for a great fit. I've tried different brands and this is still my favorite.

The product I received is not 84% cotton as the listing says. It's made up of other materials. I've purchased this exact product in actual stores & expected it to be the same. It definitely is not the same quality. The cut/fit seems the same as the cotton ones I already own & the fabric is soft but I would never have purchased it & feel very cheated.

Great feeling, comfortable material, runs small in size.

Perfect fit. Love the tummy control and high waist. I live in them now.
