Life changing for my spouse
Let me start by saying a few years ago we took a trip to Greece and I pushed my wife in her wheelchair all the way up to the Parthenon. Travelling with a wheelchair is no easy task for both the infirm and the manual labor needed to get them around. We have been limited in places we can go due to my wife's physical limitations and my physical limitations on being able to push. After much research on different models, I settled on this Ranger. After 6+ mos of use, let me tell you this has been a life changer! My wife tells me all the time now, she feels she has her freedom back. No longer does someone need to push her around stores, the mall nor do I need to sprint across multiple airline terminals with bags and pushing a manual wheelchair anymore. TBH...she usually leaves ME behind now.....I would recommend some velcro straps to hold closed, especially if flying. I use two of these on the top handle and foot rest to secure. If travelling by air, remove the control handset before giving off to the airline to store under the plane. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08NZQ9942/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1Battery life has been impressive. With smaller trips, we did not have to charge but once a month in the beginning. For longer day trips (6+hrs of constant going) I would recommend overnight re-charge. Off roading on grass has been fine, just a slight hang up with some gravel areas if on an incline. Easy to adjust and get out of those spots with a push.I would be really interested in spare battery options, and some type of portable (or even better, solar) charging device.PROS: folds down to the size of a smallish suitcase.fits easily into car or SUV trunklong battery lifeCONS: still weighs 67lbsDoes not easily stay self folded

It’s convenience is worth the price
This chair seems to be very good so far, have only used it 2 times, once in my backyard(which used to be a jungle, did pretty well over all in wet grass and around a lot of the little saplings,a few of the 1” or better might hang it up but was able to get it loose on my own, don’t know about the battery yet because I haven’t used it enough, would feel a lot better if I had an extra battery,so far in reasonable grass and normal service it is fantastic,I am going to try it in some gravel this weekend and will follow up on how that goes, have received 2 phone calls from the vendor, one to tell me it was going to be 2 days late arriving ,and after receiving another to see if it went ok recieving and if I had any problems or questions,if it goes well in the gravel then I would rate this chair at the very top of chairs but as of now I give the company an AAA++++GREAT SERVICE and follow up,THANK YOUWes,Ps will follow up this post after using it in the gravel,Did not work as well in the gravel as I had hoped but still overall for an easy to load and easy to unload chair it is fantastic, have regular battery powered chairs(need a van or hitch mount to take)but they are not convienant for all occasions,my sister can throw this one in the trunk and we can go to the store and back in less time than it takes to load and unload my other chair, works well and offers convenience of a push chair but you’re in control,we’ll wo the money and great company to work with

Should expect more for the money.
I loved this chair. It was easy to drive, long battery life, navigated all terrains nicely and was easy to transport (although much heavier than the stated 40lbs). I used it 3 or 4 times a month for grocery shopping, doctor appointments and concerts. After 4 years the chair completely collapsed. The frame broke in two on the control side and the cross bar for the wheels completely broke off. I have included pictures showing the control side completely severed and the detached crossbar is on the seat. You can see the front wheels are buckled under and the seat is on the floor. I am completely heartbroken. I understand things don’t last forever, but I expected more for the money I paid for this chair. I weigh 122 lbs and don’t believe I placed undue pressure or abuse on this chair. If you don’t mind spending over $1000.00 for a chair that will completely collapse on you in 4 years, buy this chair. You will love it while it lasts

A very sturdy and capable motorized wheelchair!
This wheelchair is just what we were looking for. It is powerful, capable, and comfortable. The large wheels allow access to areas other chairs simply cannot go - over rough ground or door thresholds or even snow and gravel. The arms raise to allow for better riding comfort as well as access to the seat. Finally, the construction is sturdy and the motor is powerful. As constructive criticism, I might suggest a hinge be added to the foot rest such that it would fold in on itself one more time. As designed, when folded, the footrest extends above the seat making it difficult for the user to sit. We have the footrest modified to add a hinge at the curve of the footrest to allow it to fold a second time thus reducing the folded height making mounting/dismounting a little more comfortable. This is a minor negative, but something to consider. In the end, we are quite happy with the chair purchase. Thanks.
