Cutting cardboard boxes and other thick or hard materials used to be an arduous task for me but no more. These scissors make relatively short cuts due to the length of the blades and that allows for more control. At first they seemed a bit stiff to use so I applied a few drops of oil to the pivot screw as per the care instructions and now they are working great. Very sharp blades!

I bought these for my classroom after many of my students were ruining their regular scissors trying to cut cardboard for STEM projects. These cardboard scissors are perfect to cut through even some of the strongest cardboard and materials, yet safe enough that I felt comfortable handing them over to 5th grade students. They're sharp, but not where it's going to cut someone who's using them correctly. They took a little getting used to because the handles are so large while the blades are short, but we figured it out and now I've ordered several pairs to keep with our project supplies in the classroom.

I bought these more than 3 years ago to cut cardboard, and they do a wonderful job at it. But I've also found they are good for everything. I especially like them to cut up a tossed salad in a small container. Maybe it is the way they are shaped, but they are so easy to use, and make it a chopped salad with no effort. I literally use them for everything, including some really heavy duty stuff. I have significant hand arthritis and they cut heavy things unlike anything else I have. They have also lasted a long time with no bending or rust or anything. I hope they last forever, but if not I'll buy another pair.

I am a scissor freak- do a lot of crafting, sewing etc. am very picky about my scissors- they are my tools. Just bought a second scissor because I misplaced my old one. Was happy to find it, but also happy to have a second- this scissor is made very well, stays sharp & cuts well. Best used for challenging cutting, thought I find I grab them for everything. Best for boxes& those awful plastic packages that you can’t open with a regular scissor. This company makes great tools.

Tried cutting through some tough shipping boxes with these, and had to put a lot of pressure on them to complete the cuts. The offset angle actually doesn't help the leverage needed on tough cardboard or on some of the anti theft bubble packs one can pick up in a warehouse store. Scissors held together with a rivet meaning that it's harder to take them apart to re-sharpen them. I prefer the old time adjustable screw to tighten the two pieces. Don't see that much any more. Overall a four star, had hoped they would turn out to be a 5, but not quite.

Where have these been all my life!? The last time I was struggling cutting a cardboard box, I told myself that as soon as I was finished, I would look for some cardboard scissors (which I just KNEW someone had to make! And I did, and found these, and am very very that I did :) They are very sharp and ergonomically designed to make cutting cardboard a breeze. I build huge cardboard box forts for my kids all the time and these scissors have been life-altering. They easily cut any kind of cardboard you can throw at them including corrugated cardboard. Don't expect to do any fancy shapes, but I've used them to make curves and circles and it's way easier than using regular scissors and obviously much more precise and controllable than a utility knife. They do hurt my hand a bit after extended use but that's not really any different from what would happen with normal scissors.

These are seriously the best cardboard scissors! These make our crafting so much easier. I'd buy these things a million times over.

They are just what I needed to cut up cardboard for art use. Pricey but I couldn't find anything else like this pair and imagine they will be the only pair I will need. For ease of use...worth the money.

One pair did last me for 3 years. Still works well- and sharp as new.You will not regret buying them.

We love these scissors, and have ordered two pairs now, they are strong and cut through everything. Our kids have destroyed so many scissors trying to cut cardboard and so on but these have stood the test of time (and kids). Highly recommended.
