Brush Roll/Bar End Cap Designed to Fit Dyson DC24 Vacuum

For anyone who has had issues with the replacement end cap not fitting properly - When I received the end cap and went to replace it, it would not fit at all. What I found was there was pieces of the old end cap that had eroded into the end of the roller bar, and was not allowing the new end cap to make a good fit. I took a small flat-head screwdriver and carefully removed all the debris from around the end of the roller bar where the end cap is inserted. I was surprised as to how much came out. Once I cleaned the end of the roller bar, the end cap fit perfectly snug. BE SURE to Check the end of the roller to be sure the end cap snuggly can be inserted!

Works perfect on our dc 24 Dyson a little tight but works fine.

The center pivot on my end cap was worn out resulting in a lot of rattling when the brush was engaged, but now it’s not much louder than when it’s disengaged. Plus, the screw is nice and tight so I don’t expect it to suddenly detach itself while vacuuming carpets. I should probably have done the replacement long ago.

Item is not an exact match for a DC24 like the description states. And once you shove it to make it fit after just a few uses the inside wears out and then you have the same problem as to why you replaced it.

I have owned and love my dyson vacuum DC 24 for about 5 years now. I have had issues with the roller brush bar in the past. Previously I paid double for this product and didn't replace the roller brush itself. I have very long hair and I shed like crazy. After much reading and watching you tube how to videos so decided I would give it one last shot and invest in the replacement parts instead of a new vaccum. I ordered the brush bar from dyson they Amazon but found the end cap from this company. I was a little worried it might not be an oringinal manufacture part but I can honestly say they look identical to me. I had no problem replacing both parts without any tools. And my vaccum works as good as new! My advice to anyone is if you are going to change parts replace both of them together. I believe my brush bar was already out of balance and caused the first end cap I replaced to wear out quickly it only lasted a 6 months. I was able to save lots and only spend $17 instead of $400 for a new vaccum.

I had purchased from other companies similar items and they did not fit my vacuum. This was a perfect fit.

This piece fit perfectly and has brought my vacuum back to newMy previous brush had the bearing seize which causes this plastic piece to wear. The round part that slid into the brush was worn right off. After replacing the brush and this piece, my vacuum head is no longer grinding and works like new.

I bought the end cap for my dyson dc24 and thought there was a problem. The seller (vacuum specialists) called me the same day I requested a refund, talked me through things and explained the issue. I needed a new roller brush and they were right! The pieces fit perfectly and vacuum runs nicely. Fantastic support and friendly service. Highly recommend!
