This book was extremely inadequate for a HR department audit let alone a HR department audit in California. Less than half of the book are the checklists...the rest of the book consists of analysis and summaries of the checklists. The checklists only scratched the surface of what I would consider an audit of my HR department. Sending it back.

Love the simplicity of the book and the format. Finding the CD in the back cover was an extra bonus!

I was kind of skeptical when i purchased the book, but trust me, this is by far the best book on HR Auditing.It explains the process from A to Z (includes audit questionnaires on all aspects of HR).

This book is very helpful and straightforward when looking for specific improvement areas for your HR disciplines within your department.

The book provides a comprehensive methodology of doing an HR audit and is meticulous on the different sub functions covered under the HR department.
