when you need a collet...
... nothing but a collet will do. Got tired of searching the shop every time I needed a different size.

Could hurt you and/or your machine
These are not english sizes. They are metric collet with the closest english sie stamped on them.I would like the seller to get in touch with me to make this right. Its so late it doesnt seem like Amazon has a method of fixing this. I didnt realize till now becasue till now I didnt realize that in order for these to work wih english bits I was running them incorrectly. They where not clamped correctly and at 20,000 RPM out of balance or loosening bits could hurt you.You get what you pay for, but I didnt expect to possibly get hurt or damage my machine in the process.

Runout < .0003
Mounted 3/4" collet holder in R-8 & Bridgeport pattern mill. Ran ER-16 collets with .250", .3125" and .375 pin gauges vs .0001 test indicator's, without significant discrepancy. They also fit retaining nut of holder correctly.
