Not for a 126T02-0675 lawnmower engine
I bought this to replace the carburetor and air filter for my 126T02-0675 Briggs and Straton lawnmower. The air filter and spark plug fit perfectly fine. However the carburetor does not have an extra screw mount at the top like the old one. I end up using some of the pieces from the new carburetor to fix my old one. Still a decent price for the kit.

Grate value.
It's been a few months now and all is good. This carb came with a choke, and the one it replaced did not. However, once you get used to adjusting the choke on occasion, there is no difference.

Saved my Briggs & Stratton woodsplitter!
I bought this replacement carb for my Briggs & Stratton engine 122k02-0412-e1 on my woodsplitter. The original carb part number is 799869 and the OEM part costs over $65. I was scared to pay that much for something I had NO experience to install beyond a YouTube video so I bought this one instead. I figured if I messed it up I wasn't going to cry as much.After reading several other reviews, I added the included o-ring alongside the old one. I had no issues with the screws, screwholes, or missing/extra parts. Everything went back into place slowly and methodically. The best part......I'm back to splitting wood as the geese are just beginning to head south for the winter. I, for one, will be warm sitting near my cozy woodstove thanks to Powtol/Amazon! Not bad for a great-grandma, eh?

No BS, just a great value!
Borrowed a friend's Briggs-powered MTD log splitter that had sat for a few years. After a few tanks of gas were ran through, it progressively needed more and more choke to stay running. Eventually, it stopped running all together.With these kits being as inexpensive as they are, the days of taking a carburetor apart and even trying to fix it are long gone. $22 later, the splitter has a new carb, fresh plug & new filters (which it frankly needed anyways), and runs like it was new. The installations was as straight forward as can be, there was no modification needed anywhere, and everything fit like it should. I'd recommend this kit to anyone.
