These buttons look good. But, they are not sturdy. They are fragile and when putting them on clothing, you have to be very gentle when tapping them with the hammer. I used an art hammer because using a regular hammer the stem of the button bends and becomes unusable. The button also is not made of solid metal. They are hollow and can bend easily when being installed. They are cheap, but they are not of similar quality to the buttons that Lee, Wrangler or Levis use.

Love it
These are the best thing since sliced bread ! Seriously, bought new business casual shorts with the dreaded sewn on button - wore 2 times and stitching coming out. That led me to google which led me to here. Took my hammer and put these on every pair of shorts I own. They are fantastic !

Easy to use
I bought these because the button came off my jeans. Very easy to install. There is no sewing or anything just pierce though the exiting hole and clamp the top and bottom piece together. The button is now not loose or anything and has stayed on.

Jeans worn once are now new again!
I bought these great Jean's while visiting my folks, with in a week of having them the button fell and I had tossed the receipt. I went to the store but without the receipt I couldn't even exchange them, so I bought a new pair. Between the $1 iron on patch and the $5 for the buttons I have one fantastic new pair of jeans and the ability to fix many more! I'm very happy.

Great value
Wish I had known about these years ago. The 0.67 size is comparable to the button used on those name brand jeans from San Francisco.I've only used them so far on shorts and they work great. Be sure to use a hammer and do this on a concrete floor/sidewalk. One good medium hit with the hammer sets the pin just fine. Do NOT try to "tap" the pin in, works better with a solid hit.

better than no button
The only advantage of no button on the fly of my shorts is I have to zip up or I can't buckle the belt so I never have my fly unzipped in public. But tiresome is another word for it. So I bought these buttons. It took five tries to get the first on on the first pair of shorts but on the second pair, once I had a technique, it worked the first time!! Sturdy and the button works.

A quick way to fix pants
I gained a little weight and all of my pants were just a little bit too small so I cut the buttons off and moved the placement about an inch and used this product. Now all of my pants are comfortable. These are so simple to use as well I read reviews were people say they are hard to use it I’m thinking myself what are they talking about?

Works fine
Found these hard to use but I also didn’t have the tool to set each side in so I was free handing it with a hammer. Took about 3 broken buttons to get one set right but it’s still in the pants so did what I needed it to
