What is non nano zinc oxide?

Hi Steven,
There is a difference between non-nano zinc and nano zinc. Nano zinc is a smaller particle size. You always want non-nano if you can get it. Non-nano zinc means that the zinc particle size is larger than nano-sized, which is usually considered to be 100 micron. The reason you want larger non-nano is because nano zinc particles are so small, they will absorb into your blood stream and actually reach organs. A few years back, studies of cadavers found zinc in livers, for example and it is generally assumed this is not beneficial to the body. The lips are one of the most absorbent skin types in the body, and that makes it even more worthwhile to secure non-nano particle sizes of zinc. Hope this is helpful, Steve

All Rubber Ducky Sunscreen is made in USA and has been for 40 years. Items 430 and 431 are natural, NO-OX (no oxybenzone) and water resistant. Natural product tends to be a little heavier than traditional, and will leave a little whiteness, which can be mitigated by feathering a little with your fingers until it disappears. 420 and 421 are Traditional SPF 44. Clear, Invisible, Slick Application. Silky Smooth. Also NO-OX.
