As a parent, finding a gentle yet effective cream for my kids’ sensitive skin has always been a challenge — until I discovered AproDerm Colloidal Oat Cream! 🙌 Both of my children have dry, eczema-prone skin, and this cream has made a HUGE difference. It soothes irritation, hydrates instantly, and doesn’t leave any sticky residue. I love that it’s paraffin-free, fragrance-free, and safe to use from birth — total peace of mind for us parents! It works beautifully as both a daily moisturizer and a soap substitute during bath time. So glad I found this product as it's been fantastic for my irritated and sensitive skin during recent periods of contact dermatitis. It's lovely, hydrating and softening. It absorbs well and doesn't feel too heavy, especially given how rich it is. I've been using it for my face, my body, and I got the smaller tube as a hand cream.

Paraffin free. Very hard to find such a clean set of ingredients which work. I use as a body cream, face cream, cleanser and general moisturiser. I have sensitive skin and find paraffin creams dry my skin out. First bought as it said good for baby skin even though other brands state the same but they have a long list of ingredients and I'd rather use something with a few simple ones in. Oat based and no discernible fragrance. Unfortunately, it's got a very functional designed bottle so it doesn't feel like luxury but it is because it works so well. Pump always works, I take out and hit hard on the bottom to get the last few centimetres out.

This is a great cream for my 5 month old baby with eczema, we have been using it for 2 weeks. The first time I tested it, I actually ran outside to show my husband the baby’s arm as it was instantly silky smooth. It doesn’t stop his itching though unfortunately. It doesn’t sting like other creams, and even better it doesn’t contain paraffins like most creams from GP, therefore allowing the skin to breathe. I am very sensitive to smells in products, and this one is a light and fresh, pleasant oat scent. I knocked off one star because if you’re going to use as a 2 in 1 soap and moisturiser, you’ll get through quite a lot of it. About a quarter of the bottle below the label is empty packaging, so it looks bigger than it really is. I have started using other natural eczema remedies in the bath instead.

One of the many symptoms I've experienced throughout my menopause is a maddening terribly dry, itchy skin. My Doctor gave me a steroid cream which I really didn't like taking. I ordered this cream after seeing it was collodial oats (Aveeno is similar, this is better and cheaper!) After a luke warm bath I slather this lovely thick cream on. It absorbs easily and seems to stay cool while you rub it into your skin. I have already decided this is my new favourite body cream and the price is fantastic. Great value for money for a pump. I have one in my bathroom and am going to buy another to keep at my partners. Would highly recommend this lovely cream and it's so gentle, I can even put it on my face and I never put anything that is even slightly perfumed or coloured on my face. This cream has a very light, oaty fragrance which is lovely and does not irritate my skin at all. I have very sensitive skin and have found this lovely cream does not irritate my skin at all. Have used it on childrens skin also and again, no irritation, reaction or rashes. All in all, a fabulous cream. Great value for money, super absorbant, great smell and thickness and extra soothing and gentle for itchy, sensitive skin.

So I never leave reviews because I never have enough time in the day and to be honest when I do I have better things to do. BUT, I just had to write one for this. This cream was recommended to me by a friend who has a baby with sever eczema. My 9 month old has also been suffering over the last 3-4month with it progressively worsening and appearing in more places. We have tried alsorts from aveeno baby, aveeno for severe dry skin, e45, cetraben to prescribed ointments and steroids from the doctor. The only thing that helped initially was the steroid but this soon wore off and it’s only for short term use. I bought this only 2 days ago. I bought the set so the lotion and the ointment. We used it for the first time last night and I can honestly say so far to effects are visibly noticeable. This is what we did: We used the lotion in the bath as a wash (we stopped using soap a while back). Once bathed and dried I then used the lotion again and massaged all over his body. We then used the ointment which is more like a balm/wax. It’s very similar to coconut oil in its natural form. Two spatulas are provided and can be washed in the sink/dishwasher as normal. We used this in the specific areas that are suffering with the eczema breakout. It is very greasy so unless having a bad flare up or in an area which can be covered I personally would only use this for night time. Come morning and there is no more redness. The rough, sand paper like areas feel very smooth and moisturised which we haven’t been able to achieve no matter what we have used. I then used the lotion only for the morning and repeated our nighttime routine again. A couple of the smaller patches are hardly noticeable and this is only 24 hours usage! I really wish I took before photos now. But if like me you are struggling this is definitely worth a try. I read some reviews that the smell is bad, to be honest I don’t find that at all. Once on the skin I can’t smell anything. £20 for the set is definitely worth it as the tubes are large. Specifically the ointment as a small amount goes such a long way!! I can see this lasting a long time and only the lotion needing to be replaced next time. But again that’s a large tube too so I can see that lasting a whole also.

Very good product! Recommend for sensitive and very dry skin for babies.
