Works better than expected, some sizing information for LG/XL
i should have had both knees replaced last year but thanks to covid no such luck, still waiting. i had to do something in the interim.they fit pretty well as to comfort and do provide a noticeable improvement for support. i have another type that fits over your pants. while that style does provide a little more support than these they are not useful in all situations. one nice aspect to these is that you pull them on like socks so to speak up over the knee. pants slide on over the top easily. they don't catch, ride up or bind on clothing no matter how long i have worn them.after using a few times they do stretch out a little bit but not too much. the stays on the sides are fully enclosed and not removable. i'm sure if or when the times comes i could easily toss them in the washer to clean. that said i'd be super careful and never place them in a drier.the most important thing to know has to do with SIZING. all of our legs come in different shapes sizes and proportions. i think due to that sizing for these is a bit trickier to get right than for most things. i have fairly standard body proportions, stand 6'1" weigh 180lbs. in this size they work fine for me but at the uppermost end. for reference i measured(while not wearing) immediately above my knee, 17.25" around.if when measured, to reiterate immediately above the knee cap, and you go above 17.5" the Lg/XL likely would be too small and constricting. i cannot say what the lower end is as both my legs are the same size lol. initially i only purchased one to see how it would work out for me. i liked it enough i purchased a second so i'd have a pair. that's my take on this product anyway based on my experience.

Stretches-out quite a bit
If you’re looking for just some general support to prevent a sore knee after a run or workout, this offers pretty decent protection and support. I was at the bottom of a size range, however, and with the elasticity in the material it kept sliding down and I found myself having to pull it up every 3/4-mile or so.Very breathable, and even without the gel kneecap cushion other models offer, this brace was quite comfortable. The only drawback - this is nonreturnable for what I’m assuming are health code reasons, so be sure you are zero’ed in on your sizing measurements before ordering. In my case, Amazon offered a sufficient resolution to the situation.

Good job providing medium level of stabilization comfortably
I found the product performed well in giving me a medium level of knee stabilization while also being comfortable. I have more aggressive knee wraps I was using that chafed the skin behind my knees. I had to use them early on in the recovery process when my knees were the most strained. Gradually after getting better I switched to these stabilizers and they worked great. The donut holes in the middle allow your knee cap to act as retainers holding the knee pads in place and the stabilizers are rigid enough to give good support. I was able to attend yoga class and exercise without pain or restriction.

Received different size/production quality in two orders.
The first one I received was nice. Perfect size, printed on tag, love it.The second one I received has a sewn in tag and is significantly smaller, even though both are labeled small/medium. I've tried both on the same knee in case one leg was just more swollen than the other, but no. It's significantly smaller and makes my leg look ridiculous.Wish it was easier to tell what lot you'd get! When I rebuy a product, I expect the same product again, not a different one.

Pushing 50, weak knees? This will do.
I've reached that age where I can feel weakness in my knees.I recently started working out again so I felt the need for some extra support. Please keep in mind, I'm using these braces for protection and preventative measures.Full disclosure, I was attracted to the price.Fortunately the purchase paid off. They're comfortable, breathable and just the right amount of security.I measured the area around my knee cap and I was right in the middle of the M/L and L/XL sizes.I went with the M/L size and I think it was a good call.I've used them for a few weeks now. No complaints.

Disappointed … and then some
I wish I returned This in time . It made my knee pain worse ! There is no support at all , and the seams are very stiff in all the wrong places . I cant Believe all the good reviews . I have Patellofemoral disorder, my knee cap likes to venture where it’s not intended to go , little rascal , and this will do nothing to aid in taming it whatsoever . The hole is way too big , unless your knee cap is hulk sized it likely won’t work .

Flexible support does not slip
I had a "one size fits all" knee brace with 2 straps to adjust, but it was getting loose with age. I like this brace better because it just slips on, no adjustments, and because it also has the hole in the kneecap, which I believe helps it not to slip down while exercising. I am right around the midpoint measurement between Medium and Large, and even though the product advises you to size up if you're not sure, I sized down because I plan to be moving while wearing it. Right now I am only walking in it 2 miles at a time, but I don't have to reach down and adjust during my walk. Great support for the price.

I am still looking.
The knee brace does not stay above my knee; it wants to slide down. I have ms and my knees hyperextend back and the brace does not help me. That is the reason I tried the braces. I use a walker so I am not doing a lot of walking or heavy exersiing.
