Q. What is the biggest difference between the Juniper Arrow and the Skyrocket? A. Arrow is more compact/tighter, shorter, narrower growth habit. Perfect, where space is limited. Juniperus 'BLUE ARROW' Common Name: Rocky Mountain Juniper Mature Height: 10-12ft Mature Width: 2-3ft Site: Tolerates inland and coastal exposure Soil: Wide range of well drain soil, tolerant of any pH, avoid wet, soggy soils Exposer: Full sun with good air circulation Moisture: Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. Moisture Once Established: needs no maintenance or watering. In it can take long periods of droughts and strong winds. Growth Habit: Tighter with shorter branches than most narrow juniper that will stand up better to the weight of snow Growth Rate: Medium Foliage: Grey-green to blue-grey scale-like leaves for adult foliage and fragrant when crushed Season of Interest: All year round foliage color, attractive shape. Makes a colorful addition to the garden. Deer Resistant and Attract Bird Uses: Coastal Exposure, Container, Erosion Control, Urban Garden Fertilizer: General purpose fertilizer in spring and fall Hardiness Zones: 3-9 Hardy to -30°F Pruning: If necessary, in early spring or late summer.

Root bound
This plant should have been transplanted into a larger pot months before I received it. When I removed it from the 4" pot, I found multiple roots growing all the way around the inner circumference of the pot. Hopefully, detangling and opening up the root ball will not kill it.

Healthy trees
So far so good. They're tiny as expected, but appear to be quite healthy. I'll see how they do, but so far I will probably order more.

Don’t look like rocky mtn junipers
These don’t look like Rocky Mountain junipers. I live in the Southern Rockies where they are abundant and the grow much wider and much taller than you say. They also are very slow growing. Is this some kind of hybrid ?
