This is an awesome looking light! Alot of thought went into the design.Why take off one star? The app did not work as I had hoped. I'm used to using the fluval app. With the fluval app you can simulate sun rise and sunset and have more control over the color hue.This app just turns on and off no simulated sunrise and sunset. It just clicks on and off.I could have gotten a twinstar with a smart plug to do the same thing.The light also gets very hot on the back.I'm hoping they can write a new app that works better.

Great packaging , arrived on time , product will replace my Finnexx , sleek design and looks clean on the rimless tank , look forward to seeing how the plants do , using this for freshwater . UPDATE , after all the setup and time to figure out the app , timer and nature mode do not work , the App is horrible , these lights are overstated for there function

The app and functionality it provides is laughable at best with a 2.3 star rating. There lacks serious customization options given the heafty pricetag. Also it seems to turn on at random times which you'd think is a cool feature but the increasingly unmanageable algae would prove otherwise. Don't waste your time and money on this
