Cloudnine Umbrellas Shaynecoat Raincoat for Women Black and Gold

I like the look of it overall, although it is more plastic looking than I expected. It fits well and is long enough just as in the photo (I'm 5'9") and has a belt pull that draws the waist in. I intend to keep it in the nice little travel bag that comes with and keep it in my briefcase with a small umbrella. I like the larger hood since I usually have my hands full with something and don't always have the ability to carry an umbrella. The only trouble I have with it is that it arrived so tragically wrinkled that I'm not sure I know how to get the wrinkles out. I don't really relish the idea of wandering around town in a coat that looks like a thousand people slept on it for a month.

The reviews were helpful because they provided more details about just how thin the coat is. It truly is more like a fitted poncho - but it's waterproof! I don't find it particularly flattering, though it does have a drawstring at waste and hood - which I wanted. And I really like the length. I've tested it out the past couple days in the high 40s and rain. With a sweater underneath and gloves, I was just fine. It was super wrinkly when I got it. They're relaxing some but I don't think it will ever look like the photo. Overall pleased with it, and the reviews helped manage my expectations.

I needed a lightweight emergency raincoat for a trip that would work, but was inexpensive incase I never have to use it. After reading other reviews, I bought a large so I could wear it over a sweater or light jacket. I usually wear medium to large, depending on the item. So, without any outerwear, it would have lots of room. All the seams have been sealed. I haven't gotten to test out how well it works in rain or wind, but it is just what I was looking for.

I bought this jacket to wear over my sweat jacket when it rains when walking my dog (I knew it ran large). It serves the purpose perfectly, it's easy and fast to put on. The hat fits well and stays on your head. The jacket came wrinkled and is still wrinkled, but I don't care. I wanted a long jacket to protect me completely from the rain. This is the second rain coat I bought because the first one was the yellow, rubbery kind & way too heavy. This coat is extremely light weight & protects your legs from the rain. I do wish it had snaps down the front, but it is large buttons. They are easy to button, so it's not a problem.

Offers full coverage. Light material but warm. Adjustable waist is a plus. It is everything I was looking for. I cannot comment on its waterproof-ness at the moment (haven't worn it in rain yet). The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is because you can tell it was cheaply sewn by some of the seam lines. Altogether, a solid purchase.

I ordered it in both medium and large. The medium fit well with room to layer over a sweater, which was what I hoped. I returned the large.I haven't had the opportunity to wear it in a downpour, but I expect it will fare well in that situation, since there is very good hood coverage.

I like the fact that it is light weight. Haven't had any rain yet but it is on the way. Wrinkles easily but I don't care about that. Very warm for this time of year but as long as I stay dry, no big deal.

With a warm iron and steam, I was able to get most of the wrinkles out of this product, although not all. Smooth enough to wear, however. Hanging overnight didn't help at all. Otherwise, I think this raincoat will work as I expected, especially for the price.

It fits okay. But for the price I was a little disappointed in the quality. I now use it as a poncho only. I feel a little gipped by the advertisement of this product.
