We purchased this gate set (got two) along with the matching spike post for use under our garden arbor entrance - works perfect and looks really nice! Be sure to measure your entrance to make sure the width is right - you only have a 1" gap area between the panels (where the latch is) to adjust for width.Product is well made and painted for the elements. We are very happy with our purchase!

This is a prime example of one piece destroys the entire project. I purchased 2 of the above ends beginning of fails by specrail. The connections shown on the left of the unit are attached by 2 small screws each. Both units one screw missing. Easy fix replaced the screws. The ultimate problem of this fence system is the REQUIRED specrail posts. They are flimsy to be polite. I hit a quarter sized piece of shale and 2 posts bent to the extream resistance of the shale. Resistance I dug the dirt out by hand, loose pack and found the offending rock. Posts bent to the strain. Okay so now I dug out the holes for the posts and cemented them in. Project is escalating. The gate to this system also requires the posts, if a loose stray rock is going to bend the post how long will that gate swing on it ? Also the gate has a latch on it its exactly 2 inches long. It bearly meets up with the other side and doesn't secure the gate at all. I called and wrote customer service which apparently they don't have ive yet a month later still no response. Looks nice but NOT at all worth the added expenses to fix the many problems.

This turned out to be a very nice looking fence. I needed a small barrier between my yard and my patio to keep my dog off of the patio. I had tried using some wire fencing, but it wasn't a very nice look and he figured out that he could push it at either end and get through. This was easy to install (I was told by my husband and son that it was). The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because some of the small round metal (??) connectors on the side, where the rod goes through, broke off and had to be glued back on. So far so good. I love the gate! - Didn't think I really needed one since it was so short, but pulling pots and wheelbarrows through, the gate makes it so much easier.

The ends could have a better design. They snap off to easily, especially on corners. Had to use black cable ties to hold together. Looks pretty good and holding up well.

Looks great. Very sturdy and easy to install.

Additional update. Terrible product. No matter what I've done the gate will NOT stay closed. I am using a zip tie look to keep it closed. I also have not heard anything from the manufacturer in two and one half weeks and two requests.I have now installed the gate and posts, which came with one screw to act as a stop for the gate. The post bent when attempting to install it so had to figure out a solution to keep the gate off of the ground. The latch to close the gate barely keeps it closed and I expect it will be problematic throughout.I contacted the manufacturer, Specrail, via their customer service on three occassions, none of my requests for information has been acknowledged.Please note that Seller provided the information given by the manufacturer so I do not find fault with them. In fact I was very pleased with Unbeatable Sales, Inc., everything they put forth in their description and available service was indeed correct and their delivery was very quick. Very pleased and highly recommend this seller!I do not recommend this manufacturer for any products based on this one.

Nice look but a little flimsy. Works for the purpose we needed.

There are two different types of spikes being advertised as compatible with the Roxbury fence and gate panels. However, these are the ones to get. These have a superior design in that the final caps can be removed since they are held on by a Phillips screw, which is provided. To nail the spike into the ground, you just remove the final cap and hammer in with a sledge.The top of the spike is plenty durable and maintains its integrity very well even if sledged into relatively hard ground. Then, use a rubber mallet to tap the final cap back into position and screw it down.
