Mintso Wood LED Dimming Display Base for Glass Crystal,4 Inch White/Warm Lighted

This is the perfect illuminated base for a three-inch hand-blown glass sphere I have. I had tried another similar illuminated wood base from another Amazon third-party vendor, but the LED lights proved much too bright for my little sphere, and there was no way to turn down the brightness. This base fixes that problem with adjustable brightness as well as your choice of white light, yellow light, or both lights combined. Given that my sphere has streaks of white and yellow, this is indeed the right base for my needs. The base remembers your last setting when you turn it on, a convenience. It also comes with a wall plug for the nice long USB cord included as well. Another reviewer lamented the fact that the on/off button lights up in blue when the base is turned off, but I rather like this feature, as it makes it easier to identify the on/off button when you turn the base on. She was right, however, about the brightness of this blue light -- this could definitely be a deal-breaker if you have the base on your night table! The wood is rather plain -- those handier than myself might want to apply some lacquer -- but it is nicely finished. In summary, then, I give this display base two thumbs up. PROS: * Has adjustable brightness. * Your choice of white light, yellow light, or both combined. * Includes wall plug and long USB cord. * Illuminated on/off button. * Remembers your settings. * Nicely finished. * Reasonably priced. CONS: * Wood is rather plain but not unattractive.

This base has more LEDs than similar bases we've purchased before. It also has a translucent plastic cover over the LEDs which our earlier purchases did not have. The cover makes it easier to center pieces on the base for display. You can have just the cool white LEDs lit, or just the warm white LEDs lit, or have both the cool white and warm white LEDs all lit. Whichever mode you chose you can select from 10 levels of brightness. At maximum brightness with both sets of LEDs lit this base does a fine job of illuminating a 16 inch cased art glass vase.

It's very bright, so I appreciated the dimmer button as well as the option of changing from the bright white to a softer yellow light color. has a long cord.

It's a great product! It's dimmable! I love that you have an option for white light, warm light, or both. I would like to see on a future or upgraded model an alternating option where it switches between warm & white light. The cord is attached to the base; with the controls inline. I personally wanted the controls closer, so I used the twist-tie to keep the control unit right at the back of the base. I was worried before I got it about a possible heat/overheating issue, but I've left it on for hours & it gets the slightest bit warm, but almost not noticeable. This is great way to add an awesome accent to display items, especially to any glass or translucent pieces.

I design liquor bottles with stained glass art and have been using battery powered fairy lights to turn them into bottlelamps but this is such a better long term solution! I love that you can change the color tone and brightness levels. I use the warm/low setting as a nightlight in my bathroom and turn it up during the day. It generates no heat and seems to be made of good long lasting quality. I am very happy with this product and I hope it lasts for years to come!

I tried two other light bases before purchasing this one and it's by far the BEST. I like how it has three different shades of white (they're sort of a bright white, amber, and yellow) and you can also adjust the brightness. This is perfect for anyone that doesn't want a base that changes colors. I just wanted a basic one for my office and this works perfectly. I highly recommend!

Great looking but did not last but 15 months. Expected longer life

we got this to put under a globe with a forever rose for my father. He loved it so much i purchased a second rose and will be getting a second one of these for him. The option to change the colors is a big plus.
