Busy Farm Board book – July 27, 2017

I bought this book for my grandkids...12 mo & 8 months.Initially I will have to do most of the sliding features...but I know they are going to love the surprises at the turn of each page. Very good quality

My little girl is in love with this book. She likes that she can interact with it and she loves the illustrations.

The push, pull, and slide parts are easy for little fingers to move. Cute drawings, simple story, and lots of opportunities for identifying and counting farm animals.

My toddler LOVES these books. He will read them in the car, and they hold his attention for a long time!

Good book, fast delivery

Great book for little fingers to be used poking, sliding, and moving. Pictures were bright and story moves at the right place for tiny tots.

I like the idea of this book. You slide things back and forth to make objects move within the scene. This gimmick works particularly well with driving vehicles, lifting items, chases, and opening doors. However, the book seems short with only 4 scenes and the front cover, plus there is no engaging story line, and some motions felt poorly utilized. We will have to see what my 17 month old thinks about the book... but i think he may need to be a tad older with more of an imagination to get into this book.Overall, this book was not as exciting as we expected it to be, but it was a little better than the busy builders book - mostly because my son likes finding the hidden cows and pigs plus I do a pretty good tractor rumble. I think if the writing and scenes followed more of a story and the actions played into that story line OR if the book had a unified purpose like finding all the farm animals... then the book would have been more successful.Side note - the spinning actions or actions with tabs on the edge of the page, could have been double sided to better use the space provided.

My 7 month old baby loves this book. Some push and pull slides could be smoother but overall a lovely book for kids!

Encantada con el descuento y el reparto. El libro es lo que expectaba. La nina de 10 meses lo mire y usa las ruedas. Solo que a la primera pagina la primera vez tuve miedo de los dos animales que salian!! Por 3,5 euros el precio es fenomenal. Los libros similares que habia comprado antes eran mas de 10 euros. Es bueno como primer libro para conocer los animales.

we love these books - so much so that we ended up buying a total of 4 (farm, fire station, pets, park). each page has something for the kid to move / turn / pull and hence is engaging. we don't really follow the story, but the graphics on each page are bright and bold, making it fun to play games like find the animal / object / shape / colors etc. it really helps the kids with their quiet time and both the 1.5yo and 2.5 yo are very nicely engaged with them. the build of the books is sturdy and has withstood the punishing use by 1.5yo destructive hands. overall highly recommended. the push / pull / move activities on some of the pages are a little tough - maybe due to excessive gluing - but repeated use has taken care of that.

子供が生まれる前に買って、小さい時から読み聞かせたりしていますが、1歳になった今では、仕掛けの動きに興味津々です。触って動かすところと、実際に動物たちが動く場所が繋がっていることがまだわからず、一生懸命に動物の絵に触れて、自分で動かそうとします。この絵本が気に入ったようで、本棚からよく自分で引っ張り出してきては、眺めています。色や柄も明るくて可愛らしいです。ページ数は決して多くありませんが、仕掛けや絵の内容、文章が読んでいる子供にネズミや子猫を探すように問いかけるので、物足りなさは感じていません。同じシリーズで別のボードブックも買いました。
