Joe Rocket Atomic Men's Motorcycle Riding Boot/Shoe

FIRST IMPRESSIONS 2/24/2015:' These are a good cross between riding boots and comfortable shoes. Many riders have never seen the damage that can be done without wearing the proper footwear when riding. These "high-Top" riding SHOES will work for just about any semi-aggressive street-bike rider. They look cool and feel great!2 DAYS LATER!!:'•••••The Rivet that holds the feed-lock block on the top of the right shoe ripped the rubber•••••, so the boot is ruined. Luckily AMAZON is replacing them with my free return.GRADE (For Now):So I'll keep the 5-stars because these offer good feel from my shifter and rear break with looks and protection....CONCLUSION: As long as the replacement pair of boots does not suffer the same fate as the right boot on my first pair, In my opinion, with the JOE ROCKET ATOMIC you get top-tier protection at a very reasonable price. Seeing someone's foot get half ripped off during a group ride because they had all great gear EXCEPT for a quality riding boot/shoe made me buy a pair IMMEDIATELY! I hope the next rivet does not come out....and no..... I did not adjust them to cut off circulation to my foot. it was a comfortable yet firm hold that didn't last on the first pair. The buckle design should have been made with a nylon mesh under the robber where the rivet attaches, this would've proved to be a more robust design. There may be further issues with these...TBD "MADE IN CHINA" MAKE EM IN THE USA JOE ROCKET!

They are better than the last iteration. They made them easier to slide on and off when unstrapped. Added armor for the toes and still very comfortable. Same price as the originals.

I have used it just a few times, and even though I'm so far pleased, I am a lil concerned. The sole is made of a main sole and two smaller pieces of sole (heel and toes area). The two smaller pieces are glued to the main one, however both front smaller soles (toe area) have a section that it is not glued (not sure if it done intentionally or by error). If you press it, you will feel giving away until it touches the inner parts of the boot. Therefore, I'm concenred that the front part of the sole will rip off by itself or if it gets tangled witht the foot peg it may come off. The other thing is the lower buckle (the one with the aluminum latch). The main section is made up of plastic. Therefore, as you open and close the buckle it worns out, and I am afraid that at some point it won't hold the latch in place, which will lead to the buckle toopen by itself (right now is starting to show some wear). Finally, the main sole is made up ofsome sort of soft rubber. Again, I have used it a few times and the sole is showing some wear. The shoe itself is sturdy and it does offer good protection, but the achilles of this shoe would be the sole and the lower strap. I bought them for a really good price, so if they last a little over a year I would somewhat satisfied,

These boots look good, are comfortable, and are easy to put on/take off. They seem well made and sturdy, while being comfortable enough to walk in for long periods of time. I rated four stars because after a couple of weeks, one of the screws that hold the toe sliders on has come off, and now I have to contact Joe Rocket for a replacement screw. I'm sure it will not be a hassle to get a replacement, but I still feel slightly inconvenienced. My advice would be to tighten the screws upon receiving these boots, and check the screws periodically.

Awesome riding short boots. They feel sturdy and have plastic chunky pads everywhere your foot might hit the pavement in a dreaded fall or crash event. A must have to ride. Fantastic product.

So, I thought it looked nice and fit pretty well at first, looked to be decent quality, I put it on and walked around the house to make sure it was good before I decided to use it, I went out riding with it a couple times and one of the buckles would pop open while I'm riding which was quite annoying but it wasn't too had so I kept using it to ride and a few days later, the screw on the slider tell out and I have to idea where, the initial quality seems good at first but seems to be put together poorly quite disappointed 😞

I needed some shorty boots for my Triumph Tiger trip up and down the Mississippi Valley - and these worked PERFECTLY. Broke in in 2-3 hours, with a tiny bit of initial toebox stiffness disappearing after a few hours of flexing on the bike.Easy on, a bit tight off, but I am very pleased with the fit - I wear a 12, and these were just right for normal socks. Well made, no loose threads or glue globs - all in all, one heck of a deal on some heavy duty, walkable riding boots. I would buy them again for warm weather riding ( as well as the mesh joe rocket jackets - just so nice to adjust the airflows ! )

Came with broken strap , very bulgy, big shoe. Quality very poor and the overall feel not great at all. Feels like it should be $30.I don’t wanna deal with returning this item I’ll just accept the loss I guess.
