I did my research before buying this and pretty much all of the reviews were positive. A common consensus on this product is that the itchy effect isn't as bad as Rogaine. After using it for a few months now, I can confirm that this is true. The hair regrowth volume and time to get that volume is roughly the exact same as Rogaine. It's a great product and is much cheaper than the name brand. I would definitely recommend, and would definitely by it again myself if need be.

I've been using this brand of Minoxidil (which is generic Rogaine) for years & it really works even though I only apply it once a day, rather than the twice daily that's recommended. My barber noticed significant hair regrowth after only a month or so when I first started using it. I admit I sometimes miss a day (or two in a row), but I haven't noticed any hair loss. Once a day application makes this a 6-month supply, less than $5 a month. How can you beat that?Note that, since it's oily, it does temporarily stain whatever you regularly put the back of your head on (like a headrest in your car or truck), but this can be cleaned up. You have to wash your hands with soap after rubbing it in, too, since they feel kind of sticky. Comb your hair after it dries - this takes about 20 minutes - and your hair will look perfectly normal again (and fuller) instead of looking like you put Brill Cream on it!Definitely 5 stars

Works, but you have to keep using it. Not for women unless you don’t mind growing a mustache and chin hair.

Zero results. The only time my hair seemed thicker was when I was using the Minoxidil. But when I washed my hair, it was still as thin as before using the product. I used it for more than 5 months before giving up. My hair seems much thinner now that I have gotten all that goop washed out. It takes several hair washings to completely get rid of that stuff. It's very messy and clogs up your comb.

A friend of mine started using this and had some nice success. I asked him for details because I assumed it was a prescription. I was pleasantly surprised to learn I could just order it and it was so cheap. After 1 month, I'm starting to see improvement (at least my wife says she notices a change). I plan to keep using it through the six months to see how much of a difference I can see.
