Kids Wooden Round Table and Chairs Set with Storage - Zoo

My review is for the Jungle Color Table and Chairs Set.I was determined on buying a play kitchen for my children and wanted a table and chair set to go with it. I have 5 children ages 7, 6, 2 and 16 months twins. I searched long and hard for a set suitable for the youngest three but still fun for my oldest two children. My main concerns while searching were price, durability and safety. I wanted something I could afford that wouldn't break easily but also wouldn't tip while my youngest children learned sitting. I chose this set and I'm extremely happy with my purchase!First off, the assembly was a breeze! You screw the four legs into the table and turn it over; the table is finished! Then you screw the four legs into each chair seat, turn the chairs over and screw in the backs with two screws each. It took me about 10 minutes to put the whole thing together.Once the table was put together, my test was to see if the kids would like it and if it would hold up to their rough play. When the kids first saw the table they immediately sat down and began to play with it. Then of course they began leaning back in the chairs, throwing the chairs around, standing on the table and the chairs, trying to punch a hole in the storage mesh bag, etc. To my amazement, this little table and chairs set has withstood over a month of this kind of rough play and it still looks brand new. I feel my children will destroy themselves before they destroy this set.PROS-The table and chairs are very colorful which naturally attract the kids to it. It's literally like "a call from the wild."-Very durable. The set is not made of solid wood but the materials are of higher quality than the norm.-More practical than just buying a toy. Has multiple uses (e.g. eating, coloring, watching TV, pretend play, imaginative play, etc.)-Very light and portable with no sliding. I have laminate flooring and although the chairs are light enough for my kids to pick up and move around, it's hard for them to sit down and slide around on the floors. For me, this is a big plus! No scuff marks on my floors yet.-The chairs are tip resistant. Because it's hard to slide the chairs around, this helps with keeping the chairs from tipping over.-Crayon and marker comes off easily with just a wipe of a paper towel.-All the kids love the storage bag in the middle of the table. It's so simple yet so fun for them.-It's circular!! My kids won't crack their heads on pointy corners.CONS-The little round cover for the storage compartment did show signs of wear after a few days around the very edges; then my kids lost it or threw it away. If your kids are like mine, you might lose yours too. The table still looks fine without it though.NOTE - The set is really designed for children ages 15 months - about 4 years old.Comparing this set to what's on the market right now, I would be glad to give it 5 stars! To top it all off, the seller was very responsive and provided me with excellent customer service when I had questions and needed to place a special order. I'm confident that I got my money's worth and will enjoy seeing my kids play with this for more years to come.

It was so cute, loved the design, the table is great, however, the chairs didn't last long, had new set of chairs sent to replace the wobbly ones, still no improvement. Toddler moves the chairs so much that the screws come loose fast. Had to tighten the screws almost daily.

This table is great for my son - he loves to sit at it and color. It's made of a high quality heavy material, it has big, bright colors, and my son loves it. There is only only one thing I don't like about the table - it's too big for toddlers. It's a better size for 3-5 year olds, too big for my 14 month old. He can't get up or down from the chair himself. So I changed it up a bit and put the chair legs on the table, so that it was much lower. Now it's the perfect size and he sits at his Elmo foam chair (which is the perfect size). When he grows taller, I'll put the original legs back on and he can use the original chairs.

I wanted to love this. The decorations on it were so cute. However within the first few days my 2 yr old had broken te legs off the chairs, turns out they are made if cheap particle board with tiny screws, no real sturdy attachment. Not satisfied at all with this products quality

Okay this table is super cute but not very sturdy...I have 2 boys and this gets used all the time. HOWEVER, it's in really delicate condition. I have to tighten the pieces constantly and part of one chair broke with a month. I'll keep it till the rest falls apart but would not recommend it.

Shopping around for our daughter's first table and chair set felt a bit overwhelming. You can find sets that have containers, work for bigger and smaller children, wood construction, plastic construction, cheap and expensive. We checked out all the local stores to find something that would work for our 18 month old.Well, after scouring the stores we found this little table and chair set on Amazon. I figured for $70, why not? I'm very happy with the purchase.1) Assembly took no more than 15 minutes. Please remember to wipe this table down after you put it together - there is a fine film of dust on all the materials. There was also a slight smell to the finish used on the table - this went away overnight.2) The table and chairs are sturdy and easy to move around with the built in handle. Our daughter likes to stand on chairs (and we try to stop her as much as possible), but I have no concern about the chair collapsing under her weight.3) For the price we feel it is the perfect size for her. We can look into purchasing something bigger down the road. This was a great $70.00 investment for the next year or so.Finally, our daughter loves the table and the animal print. The small netted container in the middle works great for her crayons and she fishes them out and puts them back on her own (which also provides the added bonus that the dog won't find them on the floor and eat them).I'm very happy with the purchase, and so is my little girl. We'll look for something more expensive when she's older, and will keep this around for #2.
