I used the 5x7 matte photo paper to print out pictures I'd taken of various artworks I'd viewed on my most recent vacation. They will make splendid additions to my Paris journal/scrapbook. Perfect color retention through a Canon Pixma, fast drying, and cost effective.

It's hard to determine which side to print on... a complaint on other reviews... It doesn't really matter much.. prints are high quality either side. I did notice one side is a little whiter.. If you hold one in each hand side by side under a light you will notice one side is a little brighter.. just flip one the other way till you notice any difference...but it doesn't make much difference.. if you mess up one side you can print on the other side...if it works for your project..

This paper was perfect for printing in my inkjet Epson printer. The ink did not bleed through or smear. Thank you!

I'm writing a 4-star today because I wasted a LOT of ink on this current batch. This paper is one-sided and typically comes with a "use this side" sticker on the outer packaging. My most recent order had the sticker on the wrong side. I printed 12 prints, only to check on them and see that the paper printing on the incorrect side. This was NOT my error, the sticker was put on the wrong end. Lots of expensive canon ink wasted, so I'm very disappointed about that.Overall, this is good quality paper that's served me well. It isn't too thick, doesn't crease, and holds a LOT of ink very well. Me and my customers both love it. Most of the time. ;) When the sticker is on the right side.

I have tried many papers and have come back to Finestra Art papers for good. Substantial weight and great prints

Oh my god. I hate to be overdramatic but this is the best paper I have ever printed on and I am SO SERIOUS. The colors don't lose their vibrancy, everything is crisp and bright and saturated. The texture of the paper is smooth, but isn't too thin so it won't bend easily. The packaging even tells you what side to print on for the best results, which is so awesome because I am kind of a moron!For context, I make and sell prints of my art, and I had originally used glossy photo paper for my small prints. I was a fool...I am literally never going back. If the 5"x7" Arctic Matte Inkjet Photo Paper had 100 fans, I am one of them. If they have 50 fans I am one of them. If they have 1 fan it is MEEEEE.When using this paper, make sure to choose a thicker paper setting to ensure that there is no slipping or anything. For me, I use the canon pixma ip8720 (this diva love her) and I use the ink jet hagaki setting and it works like a charm.
