The boat is what you would expect for the price, resin, fair detail and acceptable painting. It looks pretty from a distance. However, the hole for holding the incense stick is not fully drilled it's maybe 1/8 of an inch deep. . Nothing that Mr DeWalt can't fix in 30 seconds, but still, the lack of detail is annoying.This will hold small incense sticks (around 6 inches), not longer ones. Plan accordingly.Nice Dragon(ish) / Viking decor for the price.

First of all, I can't stand the smell of incense, but my son insists on burning it all the time. I was just looking for incense sticks to give him for Christmas when this showed up as a suggestion. My son loves all things Viking so I had to get it. It's really well made, really nice piece of decor with or without the incense. I'd obviously prefer without. My son loves this, he was so happy to get away from using the little wood holder.

One thing keeping this from 5 stars is there wasn't much of a hole where the tail of the stick goes. I took an 1/8th inch bit and went in there, too big. Broke the tail off. Once super glued back on, I took a much smaller bit and went through the tail. Works like a champ now!

Don’t drop or bang or handle roughly!

My four-year-old grandson is new to the concept of Viking longships. When I gave him this one (minus the incense stick), he loved it! I ordered another for one of my very Viking sons. Even without the incense, this is a great gift!

It's to short for incence I bought helf the ash lands outside of boat

The hole to hold the incense is no at the best angle nor is it big enough. I find that some of the sticks of incense are to big to fit in and the ones that do are not held high enough and hits the dragons head. These are the only complaints for it, otherwise it is a nice incense holder.
