Dare Underground Double Insulated Hook-Up Wire 14GA X 50FT, NO.2488

Due to it's size (gauge) the cable is difficult to handle but that's due to the cables properties. It's very strong although still pretty light, it should work well for it's purpose. If you plan to snake this cable through a pipe, you'd need a steel cable to pull it out with with high difficulty. Since I used PVC pipes, I snaked it in through the pipes before applying any glue. When I finally reached the target area, I glued the PVC starting on one end all the way to the other end. Pushing or pulling on the cable on bends is difficult, you'd need to bend the cable each time you push it through. So snaking it in a simple elbow will take a couple of cable bending before it's through.

Been in the ground for a year now. No issues, works fine.

This wire was purchased to replace failed single insulated underground wire because it was advertised as "double insulated". It was not "double insulated, but I had to use it anyway to keep the bears out of my fruit trees. Disapointed.
