Fixed the IO error code problem
I like that this includes detailed installation instructions. Be prepared to get on your hands and knees and try not to drop the screws as you are removing the old igniter and installing the new one. But the price is OK and hopefully this one will last quite a few years.

Cleared the IO error, heater works again
My six month old Hayward HDF400 heater stopped working with an "IO" error, which is an ignition error. This new igniter cleared out the problem and now the heater fires up again. Not sure why the prior one failed after only six months, hopefully this new one lasts longer.
