Very nice top!
Here's everything helpful I can tell you about this top: the one I received was LONG but some people have said they are short- so I'm assuming there are variation in the cuts (not unusual with items like this that are often handmade in countries like India, SriLanka, etc.). Its boxy and lightweight, which makes it very comfortable for a really hot climate. (Hint: it likely will look & fit EXACTLY like it appears in their picture!) Its also somewhat sheer, so I plan to wear a thin tank top with a coordinating color underneath (or one could wear a coordinating bra, or coordinating bathing suit top). Overall: Its very pretty; the colors and embroidery. I would also say its cut on the large size. I bought a size UP and then returned mine for my usual size.Lastly: I love so many of the Sakkas brand cotton/rayon blend tops & dresses because I appreciate them for what they are. They are intricately embroidered and detailed, very inexpensive, and usually provide an exceptional great fit/drape. They are also fragile items (colors will bleed when washed even in cold water, items will need gentle care in washing, etc.)- but I'm OK with that because of the great look, fit, and price. I have MANY Sakkas items. And as far as this company goes...they are GREAT with fast shipping, returns, etc.!1/15/13 update: I returned the first blouse I got because it was too big (I mistakenly ordered UP one size, which I tend to do with very inexpensive clothing), the newest one (down one size) arrived and was perfect. I just want to mention that the newest one I got was shorter and I liked it better (I thought the first one was cut too long). So it really is a gamble as to whether you will get one cut all the way to mid thigh, or cut to hit mid hip. Click on all the colors and you will see the different lengths that you MAY get (but I'm betting its not related to color you select, its just going to be random) and then you'll have to take a chance to see if you get it in a length you like!

Pretty, Flowy, Comfortable
I love this lightweight blouse ... Just what I was looking for.I did, however, purchase it one size larger due to reviews. It fit too large so I sent it back and re-ordered my true size.I then ordered another top from Sakkas. Different style yet very similar. I ordered my true size and it fit a bit tight in the bust.I suppose it's all in how your body is shaped and how each top is styled. The return was VERY simple so that was greatly appreciated.I will shop from them again. I really like their clothing.

Oh So Nice!
I absolutely love this top! I bought it to go with a gypsy maxi skirt I purchased from Sakkas as well. I followed another reviewers advice and went for a size larger and it worked out perfectly. The blouse was really well made and the attention to the little details was excellent. Don't hesitate to put this item in your cart, I know that I'll be back for more!

I do like the lightweight material
The sizing on this shirt is true. As stated in many other reviews for this shirt it is sheer and requires some kind of tank top or camisole underneath. I do like the lightweight material. The care instructions say to hand wash which is exactly what I did and hung it up to dry. In order for this to lay flat without multiple creases and to look flattering I needed to steam it. Once this was done I was ready to go and this shirt was a great hit. There are slits up the sides that allow it to flow nicely over the more shapelier hips of us heavier women and the arm holes allow ample room. In the end I am very pleased with this purchase.

Really pretty, but fabric is a little thin
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I love this shirt...it's really pretty and very flattering. The only issue I have is that there were many loose threads hanging off the seams of this shirt. It doesn't seem to be made with the finest fabric or with the utmost care....but for now it's comfortable and figure flattering and goes with jeans or dress pants. We'll see how long it lasts before it falls apart. WASH ON COLD DELICATE ALONE...and hang dry to be safe. I do think this would shrink even on a low dryer setting.EDIT: I did mean to add that it runs small. I wear a 1x in most clothing but went with the reviews that said buy one size up, but I went up 2 by mistake...hit the wrong button but it worked out. This shirt fits nicely now and is long and flowy being a couple sizes larger than my normal size. It fits correctly on the shoulders at this size as well. Definitely buy at least one size up.4/4/14 UPDATE!! I washed this on DELICATE/COLD in a front loader machine with no spin. I took it out and hung it to dry. A week later I went to put it on and it SHRUNK so much that it doesn't fit at all...the buttons gape, there are a ton of loose strings.I am returning it. And giving it a ZERO star rating!!!Be leery, very leery of buying this shirt or any others made by this company!!!!

Annoying buttons, too sheer, flimsy!
I bought this for a trip out of the country. I get warm easily and I needed lighweight clothes to pack, so I figured this would be perfect. Um, no. It's WAY too sheer. The model must not be wearing a bra for the back view, because you'd be able to see it easily. I was uncomfortable with that, so I wore a cardigan over it the whole day. But, alas! A worse problem surfaced. Although it wasn't tight across the chest, it kept unbuttoning at the bust line. We were out and about all day long so I couldn't change. I had to rebutton literally 20+ times. I may try to fix the problem just so I can wear it around the house (sans bra!) in the summer. I'm going to sew the button holes at the edges to make them smaller. The color and fabric held up in the wash, but I had it in a hosery bag on cold and delicate cycle. But I do NOT suggest you buy this shirt! EDIT: Went to sew the button holes smaller, and discovered a tear next to a seam on the inner front panel. And I washed this on delicate and in a small net bag! :(

comfortable
I love this blouse. It's easy to wear, dressy enough for work, doesn't need too much ironing (I can get away with no ironing if I shake it out and hang it up immediately after washing -- the placket needs to be smoothed out a little bit). The double lining in front means you don't HAVE to wear a camisole or undershirt, but I usually so since the back is pretty sheer.
