Santa Ninfa Linguine Italian Pasta, 1 Pound (Pack of 12)

I love Santa Ninfa Capellini Angel Hair pasta.... it's fantastic. I ordered the 1 lb x 12 pack, which I have received today.All is good there. However, I also order the Santa Ninfa Linguine 1lb x 12 pack, but instead of Linguine, I received another 12 packages of 1 lb packets of Capellini Angel Hair pasta. I now have enough Angel Hair pasta to open a little grocery store. I'm not returning it because I do love it and it will keep. BUT, whoever is doing the packaging for shipping needs to learn how to read!!! Otherwise, this product is the BEST!

During the early stages of the pandemic I sought out an online solution to the lack of decent pasta options at local supermarkets. I tried multiple brands of Italian pasta sold by Amazon and other online specialty stores. Santa Ninfa emerged as my favorite. I had four or five subscriptions active for different pastas. It was a lovely arrangement. Four packs of different shapes (fusilli, strozzapreti, cavatelli, orecchiette) and then a twelve-pack of linguine were part of the rotation. Sadly it did not last. One by one, the products became unavailable. At this point, none of the Santa Ninfa products that I enjoyed are available anymore.I don't know whether Santa Ninfa decided to terminate their relationship with Amazon or vice versa. Perhaps it is a lingering "supply chain issue". Perhaps a poor durum wheat crop throttled exports. All I will say is that I enjoyed their pasta very much while it was available, would buy it again if it reappeared, and will buy it through other channels if I find it being offered elsewhere. It was simply great pasta, and although it may have been a bit more expensive than typical supermarket brands, the quality made it worth the cost.

Was very impressed with the taste and texture of this pasta. It is a lot better than the everyday pasta you buy in your local grocery store. Very much worth the few extra cents you pay per pack for a much better quality.

This is fine angel hair pasta -- it tastes no better and no worse than any other I've had and I've tried at least a dozen brands and their varieties in my adult life. However I have an important question that are not answered on the bag. How long is '"cook to taste? exactly? I will note that "3 Minutes" is listed on two places on the bag but not in the directions for how to cook this. 3 minutes wasn't enough, I found that 6 minutes was much better in terms of texture for my entire family.My other concern is why does this pasta have more calories than other brands? For the most part I try to watch our caloric intake from carbs and usually the brands of pasta I use have 180-190 calories per serving though 200 per serving seems quite common. This has 210 calories per servings and no reason as to why that would be given the simple list of ingredients. Is the wheat they are using more caloric?

Excellent! This pasta has a perfect texture and taste I can't say enough good things. I fix pasta a LOT and this is light years better than what you can buy off the shelf at the grocery. Highly recommend!

This is the best linguine I have ever eaten. It takes and has the consistency when cooked of freshly homemade pasta.

I like the flavor of this pasta, as well as the firm texture which cooks well.At a very good price.What more can a girl want for great spaghetti and meatballs ?

6 packs had wheat worms. terrible!
