As far as I am aware, it dies what it is supposed to.

Bought this cool/warm heat pad to replace an old damaged one. Good service from supplier and the pad works really well, hot or cold.

The item is great but I ordered two of the small size but received 2 of the larger ones. I need for swollen hands, these will do the job for now.

These seem to have been 'standard issue' in the NHS for some years, which pretty much guarantees a good service life, conformity to H&S requirements and good performance.They work very well (plenty of gel inside) and the plastic 'envelope' is more flexible than many cheaper products. In this case, a higher price does actually get you a better product.Reliance Medical are "Trade Distibutors", and don't appear to manufacture anything in the UK. Currently (2021) these are probably made in China; like all other products made in China, expect UK prices to continue to rise due to soaring freight charges in the last year (8 to 10 times 2019 rates).

When I was in hospital they provided me one of these for back pain. You heat it in microwave it stays hot for hours and then can be reheated as and when. I would recommend to anyone who has back pain

This product does what is says good in microwave or freezer

This is brilliant as can use hot or cold on affected areas cover In flannel or tea-towel rather than direct skin contact. Great for pain relief and flare up emergency boxs
