Fats Domino was the second best selling artist in the USA for some years after Elvis. His style and songs are great, this is a great selection and I am glad I purchased it as it has a lot of lesser known songs....a good addition to my music collection.His range of songs are great and there are a lot of high quality songs as well as the hits; a good buy

I heard some of this album o the TV and thought it sounded great. When I received it and played it, it was fantastic and sounded quite modern, love it.

Nice way to get back catalogue music with original albums full of unplaced songs not just a collection of hits with some also rans added for good measure. This collection is excellent

Great music from a - in Europe -underrated artist

Fats, of course, passed away in late 2017. His impact on the world of rock and roll has been documented in many places, yet he remains an underestimated musician in my view. Fats changed music: he had a fundamental impact on the way rock developed, and when you have talents like the Stones and the Beatles citing him as a major impact, there's something to this guy! This collection of 12 of his albums (over 10 CDs) at a reasonable price is a good way to expose yourself to Fats' music without spending a lot of money. And while there's no remastering done here, no special tribute insert, and nothing extraordinary about the box set, it does provide a great way to expand your collection of Fats' music (or start one).The age of these recordings is obvious when you listen to them, especially some of the early ones, but the music comes through. I can only imagine how good this would be with remastering and some attention to the presentation, but even as it is this box is a fitting memorial of the music this man made, and his impact on music history. A worthwhile acquisition for those interested in Fats' music, the way he led the move to rock, and how his musicianship inspired many others.

Excellente compilation des albums originaux de Fats chez Impérial . Le format 'paper' est plaisant. Les bonus appréciés et bien situés pour la période d'enregistrement. Il manque cependant quelques titres de la fin de sa carrière chez imperial, juste avant de passer chez Mercury.Mais l'ensemble est très convaincant et à recommander à tout amateur du 'Père Fats'.
