Palm Beach Medicinal Herbs - Naranjilla (Solanum quitoense) - Packet of 30 Seeds

I put them on dirt water them and I have a few of them sprouting, I am glad to see it happening, let's see how long it takes for them to reach adulthood, I hope to grow them on big pots as I have grown other trees.

Not growing I'm try by 10 pots but nothing come

Every single seed sprouted after about a week in potting soil. Now just waiting fro them to grow and hopefully produce fruit in a year or so.

After about a month, the seeds are germinating!! I will update once they keep growing. Make sure you keep soil moist, but at the same time water the soil gently (try to not disturb soil). Have the pot in a warm, but Not that hot place.

I got the seed four or five months ago and about 50% germinated after about a month. The seed is small and takes a long time to get a big plant but eventually they take off. I've read naranjilla struggle after 85° F but I've seen no sign of problems in the hottest of ky summer in part shade. Growing them is very similar to a tomato or eggplant. I don't know what pH they do best at but they're doing fine in what i think is closer to neutral (70 % composted vegetation 30% sand and acid mineral soil a.k.a dirt). Note, this is the variety with thorns, but so far the thorns aren't very troublesome, not compared to blackberries anyway. I haven't gotten fruit yet but I'm confident i will if i can keep them alive through the winter.

The other reviews said this was difficult, but it’s not. Just keep them in damp petemoss for a few weeks.

These seeds did not germinate. I left a message for the company and they said they would send another packet but they have not

All the four seeds germinated in a month. Keep the pot in the partial shade & water daily.
