Of course after I bought them I found them at a local garden center for less, but the center didn't have 8 pots which was the amount I needed. Glad I purchased them and now I know where to go if one breaks. Hopefully they will wear ok. The jute cord will have to be replaced, and hopefully the little plastic rings holding the jute will last more than a few season outside. Time will tell.

This is a nice planter, but do not use it where rain water gets to it because the water has no way out and your plant will get root rot.

First, when you check out hanging pots, they aren't cheap. This is one of the least expensive I found, and it does the job fairly well. You can pour water into it on the top, but the easy way is to pour it in in the small opening on the side (if you look closely at the picture, you can see where the water will go). It is 12 inches wide (they don't lie), and it is fairly deep(5 and 1/8 inches to the reservoir) What they have done to improve plant usage of water is to put a cloth like material that goes from the small water reservoir to the dirt above it that wicks the water from the bottom up into the dirt. (Hopefully you get my drift--mostly upward). I think it is a reasonably attractive color that will go with most decor. Oh, one more thing: the hanging rope is a big plus as it is a synthetic plastic material that gives and is not rigid. Some of the pots have metal hangars or plastic pieces that are rigid; this one is much better in my opinion (it's like 1/4 inch rope like material).

The hangers are nice, I havent hung them though b/c I am afraid they will end up on the ground and hurting my flowers, But they look really nice sitting on the porch next to my bigger pots. The are just really heavy for a hanging type pot and I don't want to take the chance.

the only down side to this pot is to fill it is kind of a hassle unless you have a spout type watering can so that you can fit it into the hole.

decent, but smaller that I thought. hard to transplant from a store bought arrangement. but decent quality.

My plants love it

I needed to repot a succulent and this hanger was a great choice. I like the water reservoir feature although its not something I'd use for this type plant. The pot is made of a sturdy plastic and should last forever. Quick delivery and well packaged
