Good purchase
I have only owned these for a week. I walk to my library on rainy conditions. The top is nylon netting as others have noted, so your feet are exposed to the elements. Having cold feet is not an issue for me though. So long as I keep my core temperature warm, even more so my head, my feet don't feel the cold. I might have also conditioned my body to except more extremes because I do occasionally practice Wim Hoff method. There is another concern I have regarding the nylon netting that I have not seen brought up; I will need to keep on top of cutting my toenails.Even though I have wore the shoes for 20 minute walks over sidewalk and street in wet and muddy conditions, I have not noticed the problems with the inner soles coming loose yet. It may be because they have not been immersed in water. It is a thin and flexible sole, and I bought them with the intention as a cheap replacement to the five finger vibrams that I own. They slip on and off very easy and have a drawstring with a plastic ball clamp to tighten if you desire, but it is not necessary to tighten for them to stay on your feet. I have not noticed problems with sand or stones becoming lodged in the shoes. The underside is standing up well to the gravel and mud I have been going over not showing as much wear as I would expect from such a soft and pliable rubber/plastic.I generally wear 10-11 in mens and purchased a size 10. There is about a half inch space behind my heal and above my little toes while wearing this shoe though my big toe and ankle fit snugly in place. Thus far I am quiet happy with my purchase.

CHEAP AWFUL
This product is so cheap and flimsy. After 3 hours of use it part of the shoe detached. Also the bottom of the shoe is tearing as well, it is not thick in regards to the material. Don't buy if your planning on going into a swimming pool or water park.

The usual water shoe issues. You can buy their equivalent at walmart and have the same outcome. Of course they work and last as just as long. I cannot remember what I paid for these but if it was more than $7 I definitely paid too much. The rubber probably cost more than the shoes were actually worth. The soles slide out. After a month or so of use, the bottom rubber started separating itself from the sock part. I stitched the foamy insole thing to the rubber from the inside trying to hold it in place (not easy as the shoe had to be turned inside out). After repeatedly stabbing myself in the finger with a leatherworking needle (normal sewing needles hate going through rubber) too many times, I reassessed the situation and came to the conclusion that the foamy insole was just going to tear anyways, so I stopped. My handiwork lasted about a week. The drawstring is great. These will be tossed after this summer in lieu of something better for next year.

Good value
Water shoes aren't designed to last. Not at the price I'm willing to pay anyway. I've used these about 30 hours in the pool and they're still holding there shape. The cinch up draw-string closure to works, an issue with some water shoes I've own. As with almost all water shoes I've had to remove the insole after the first couple of uses. They all tend to bunch up on me. Personally, if they just did away with it altogether and sealed the stitching I wouldn't mind. When these wear out I'll buy another pair.

Not bad, Not Great
Like other reviews have stated, the padded insert inside the shoe came lose within the first couple hours of use. Overall it wasn't much of an issue as when it would slip out of position I would just move it back. Really only had to adjust it maybe 3 times over the course of a 16 hour day. The shoe held up very well considering what I payed for them.

I wore them around the house just to get a feel for them and they have lived up to expectation. I bought them to replace a pair I lost recently but can already tell they will be great in the water/river at the next chance I get to use them. I always add an extra thin layer of insole whenever on sand for added support because sometimes the insoles on some of these shoes do move. I say this because I also bought the shoes for when I referee beach soccer. So it is a great tip for anyone who referees beach soccer as well. Or, skip the extra insole and wear a low thin sock. I pour water on them to retain some water while I am refereeing beach soccer and it feels great when the sand is hot and I am moving around.

Dry Comfortable Water Shoes
My husband is diabetic and has all kinds of problems with his feet. Theses water shoes are light, comfortable and easy on his feet. The tread on the sole makes walking safer. I have purchased 3 pairs for him and we will be buying more. It’s been a wonderful alternative from regular shoes for the summer. They are true to size and because of the adjustment strap easy to put on as well.

Big water shoes for big feet
It ain't easy being big but these shoes sure did fit great. Needed some for vacation and go them just in time. They fit, had nice drawstring to snug them up to not fall off like others without drawstring. Not sure how long they will last but I'm sure to get my moneys worth out of them.
