Tbh I was expecting a cherry taste 😂 that's not what I got It's kinda like a citrus taste mixed with a cheap tart apple juice ..I only added it to water & it's drinkable Maybe putting it in smoothie or even yoghurt would be tastier I'll keep taking it and hopefully I'll soon notice the benefits Joanne x

Extremely fine powder with a sharp tang to boost your vitamin C levels
After tearing off the sealing strip and prising open the resealable pouch, I was somewhat taken back by a cloud of very fine acerola powder. This brown coloured powder is extremely fine and whilst I don't think it tastes much like real acerola fruit (I've tried that in Brazil), it has a very sharp, slightly bitter and lemon-like taste. The benefit of acerola is that it contains a very high level of vitamin C when compared to almost all fruits. This freeze dried powder from Brazil is a perfect addition to deserts, yoghurt and drinks, although 50g doesn't go far (about 10 teaspoons). I tried some on natural yoghurt and other than a slight tang, it doesn't add much flavour at all. That said it's a natural way to boost your vitamin C levels and the fine powder makes it dissolve easily and versatile. As with any superfood it comes at a premium price for 50g but if you are looking for a natural source of Vitamin C then you might be tempted. Update: since originally writing my review, I tried dissolving a teaspoon of the powder in a glass of water and I can say without doubt it tastes much closer to Brazilian acerola juice without the sharpness and bitterness. Definitely a good way to consume if you just want the benefits of this super berry..
