Overall: Very satisfied with this Ingen SRI on my 2002 RSX (non type s). Performs very well.Pros: Deep growls around 2500-3000RPM, plus a quicker throttle response with a noticeable hsp gain.Cons: The outlet for the air sensor was put on the wrong side! I had to splice the wire to run the air sensor under the SRI to the other side. Also, product did not come with Ingen stickers :(

For my 2006 rsx-s it was quite simple to install and I am not a mechanic. The only issue was the fitting for the throttle body was a little too short and I had to make some minor adjustments to make it fit. Over all good product. Sounds good when the vtec kicks in :)

Really good intake system. Was easy to install, but removing the stock system could be little bit trouble some. Overall it took me less than an hour to both remove and put the new system and test driving it. My car sounds awesome, especially when it hits iVTEC. I definitely see a good boost in horsepower, not measured but I can move to 6th gear or rather switch gears earlier than before and the car doesn't feel lack of torque. Which means I could drive on higher gear ratios, that would improve the gas mileage as well. Not measured, but would update as soon as the tank gets empty.My only concern was a tiny design issue on the rubber grommet which holds the sensor. It's little too small to fasten the sensor on the flange of the grommet with the stock ring clip. Wish the grommet had a little longer flange. But not a concern at all, oxygen sensor stays in place and doesn't come off or anything.

A very nice short ram air intake. Very suprised at how it quickened the throttle response. The quality could have been a little better (in this I mean the 45-degree rubber elbow could have been a tad longer) in some areas but overall a very nice addition. In its defense though at least I'm not having to bend, tweak or alter the unit to get it to fit as the fit and finish are superb.Also, I must admit I'm really surprised at how mean it makes my K-Series sound at full throttle. It's kind of nice actually. Stealthy when you want it to be but also gives you that nice sound when you want it (50%< throttle). Again, very mean when hitting the higher rpm's. Dresses up an engine bay nicely.

Not the right size for my car

Before I continue, I must say, this does NOT fit the Base RSX, 02-06 like the Product Fitment says. This is strictly for the Type-S model only. BUT despite this, I was able to fit this intake in my 05 RSX Base. The way to do it is to cut the Air Temperature Sensor wrapping from its electrical tape all the way down until it is long enough to fit inside the intake. This took me about 3 1/2 hours since it was my first time. Besides that long installation, once it was installed it was AMAZING! Definite increase in throttle response, cant say much about MPG or Horsepower, but trust me it is a beast. It doesn't sound too loud like some people here say it is. It is a balanced noise that only comes on when YOU step on it, and believe me, you will! You cannot go wrong with this intake, best 180 i ever spent!

Great figment and a great first mod for beginners like myself. Gives the car a nice tone and allows vtec to shine. Fitment was good in my 2005 Acura Rsx Type-S.

The item came to my house pretty quick, and it was good and intact, no damage. The sound is deep and throaty, not super loud and it doesn't sound like a weed whacker. When you press on the gas hard, you hear that intake open up. When you shift and let off the gas, it makes a slight whoosh sound. The acceleration is noticeably quicker, and it does feel like my car is a bit quicker. It is also CARB certified in California which is a must. I will in the future look to buy other Injen products and shop from this store.
